Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users, data scientists, developers and engineers to develop and deliver AI/ML products for LLM chatbots, forecasting, NLP and OCR, agentic AI use cases.
• Research, design, build and test scalable AI/ML pipelines for data preprocessing, model training, RAG, evaluation and deployment
• Integrate AI/ ML products into applications using APIs (e.g. RESTful) and microservices (e.g. implemented with FAST).
• Work with DevSecOps team to containerise AI/ML models (e.g. OCI-compliant container, Red Hat UBI) and support CI/CD workflows.
• Adopt proven software engineering practices such as code reviews and test-driven development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in AI/ML model development and deployment
• Strong understanding of AI/MLOps practices and tools 
• Experience with working with DevSecOps teams in deploying (and troubleshooting) AI solutions using various tools and platforms, including containers via tools such as Redhat Openshift Container Platform and Docker
• Knowledge of GPU cluster architecture and ability to optimise workloads such as LLM inferencing in both Windows and Linux environments is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Machine Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers) and coding in either Python, Node.JS, Java. 
• Proficiency in web application development is a plus. E.g. Proficiency in Svelte or other node related frameworks for the frontend. Experience implementing UI elements with Figma.
• Ability and the drive to learn new programming languages/frameworks, techniques and to work closely with different groups of users, external contractors and/or subject matter experts

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Application Developer to analyze, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end application delivery, including requirement analysis, development, testing, implementation, and post-deployment support. The role involves working with large data volumes, system integrations, and batch processing in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and prepare technical design and specifications.
• Develop, enhance, debug, and maintain application systems.
• Perform coding, scripting, and automation for application development.
• Handle system integrations and interfaces across multiple platforms.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, procedures, and database solutions.
• Use Python and Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation and data processing.
• Design and manage batch processing using Control-M, including job scheduling and monitoring.
• Conduct unit testing and System Integration Testing (SIT).
• Provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployment.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for application and database issues.
• Maintain proper technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.
• Provide post-implementation support and ensure system stability.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a Banking or Financial Institution.
