The Mechanical Engineer shall be responsible to perform engineering analytics, provide engineering solutions and perform defect investigations to support equipment refurbishment & maintenance projects. The candidate shall be required to independently conduct defect troubleshooting, failure analysis, engineering analysis and develop engineering solutions to the problems identified. • Lead in the conduct of defect investigation to identify root cause and follow-up, including developing of fault tree analysis, FEMCA and conduct of forensic investigation.
• Perform review of project design specifications to support refurbishment & maintenance projects to ensure adequate safety, reliability, maintainability and operability considerations.
• Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical & Electronic Engineering/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Preferably with at least 2 years’ working experience in automotive, aerospace or heavy equipment environment.
• Fresh graduates from local universities are welcome to apply.
