About the Role

We’re looking for someone who wants to do intelligence work with AI agents as their team. You’ll run agents that monitor competitors, QC our own product, and handle the grunt work that used to eat an analyst’s week. Your job is to point them at the right targets, read what comes back, and turn it into decisions that the Product and Growth team can act on.

This will feel different from a classic analyst seat. Agents do the scanning, extracting, and summarising. You do the judgment, picking what to investigate, spotting what matters, and turning findings into sharp recommendations.

Key Responsibilities     

• Direct AI agents to monitor competitors, QC our internal products and run research workflows
• Extend those workflows when a gap is found: new sources, new questions, new outputs
• Conduct competitor tear downs, which includes products, funnels, pricing, positioning, launches, experiments by using agents to accelerate the work
• Pressure-test our own product from a real-user perspective and create a log of what is not working
• Translate findings into decision-ready recommendations for Product and Growth teams
• Feed learnings back into the agent system so it improves over time

Requirements

• Clear written and verbal communication - ability to compress a tangled finding into one paragraph that a busy person will read
• Self-starter — Ability to pick a direction and course-correct than wait for instructions
• Motivated learner — Able to pick up new tools fast; ideally you can point to something you taught yourself in the last six months
• Comfort in using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) past the basic chat interface
• Ability to turn raw findings into clear, actionable recommendations tied to business impact
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, exploratory environments

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with AI agent platforms, automation tools, or workflow builders (n8n, Zapier, Make, Lindy etc.)
• Background in competitor research, product analysis, market research, or exploratory QA
• Familiarity with SaaS, consumer software, or browser tools
• Any coding, scripting, or tool-wiring skills will be an advantage

Role Overview:
This role leads the end-to-end development and management of smart operational systems, AI infrastructure, IT environments, and in-house data centre operations. The position bridges built environment expertise with advanced digital infrastructure, responsible for intelligent building systems as well as the physical and virtual backbone powering AI-driven operations

Key Responsibilities

1. Smart Building & Operations

• Oversee IoT-integrated BMS covering HVAC, lighting, access, and energy monitoring
• Deploy AI-powered predictive maintenance and facilities analytics platforms
• Integrate physical infrastructure with digital control layers and drive energy efficiency goals
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and vendors on infrastructure-technology alignment

2. IT Environment Infrastructure   

• Plan, build, and manage the organization's internal IT network and hardware infrastructure
• Establish IT standards, procurement policies, and lifecycle management protocols
• Define network architecture supporting both operational and AI workload demands

3. Mini AI Machines & Agents

• Deploy and maintain edge AI devices and on-premise inference machines
• Build and manage internal AI agents for task automation and operational decision support
• Oversee model deployment, agent orchestration, and performance monitoring
• Onboard emerging AI tools and ensure agent integration across business operations

4. In-House Data Centre

• Lead the design, buildout, and ongoing operations of the organization's in-house data centre
• Manage physical infrastructure including server racks, UPS systems, cooling units, and structured cabling
• Define standards for power density, redundancy (N+1 or higher), and capacity planning

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Architecture (BS Arch) or equivalent
• Additional qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields are an advantage
• Prefers candidates with at least 5 years of working experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure
• Effective multitasker capable of managing concurrent infrastructure projects and operational demands

This role focuses on understanding competitor products, market positioning, user journeys, and product strategies to uncover insights that inform better business decisions. While the role involves product exploration, its core value lies in research, analysis, and critical thinking, rather than scripted testing or bug validation.

The ideal candidate is naturally curious, proactive, and comfortable working in an exploratory, less-structured environment. This role offers the opportunity to directly influence product and growth decisions by uncovering insights others overlook, working closely with cross-functional teams to shape how the company understands its competitive landscape and stays ahead in a fast-moving market.

In this role, you will design and deliver robust, scalable software solutions, work closely with cross-functional teams, and drive technical excellence across the full product lifecycle.
