Role: Software and Application Manager
Type: Contract
A Software and Application Manager with strong experience in the banking and financial services domain, responsible for managing enterprise applications and leading large-scale automation testing projects. The role involves overseeing the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring application quality, performance, and compliance with banking regulations.
The manager leads cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, and automation testers while coordinating with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality banking applications. The role also focuses on implementing effective testing strategies, automation frameworks, and continuous improvement practices to ensure reliable software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage banking applications and ensure system stability, security, and compliance.
- Lead and manage automation testing projects using tools such as Selenium, UFT, or other automation frameworks.
- Define and implement test strategy, automation framework, and quality standards for software releases.
- Oversee test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting across multiple projects.
- Collaborate with business, product, and development teams to ensure application requirements are met.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Lead and mentor QA, automation, and development teams to improve productivity and quality.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, automation coverage, and DevOps practices.
