• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing daily construction activities on site to ensure project progress and quality targets are met

• Assist in preparing technical reports, method statements, and work schedules.

• Ensure proper documentation and record keeping for all engineering activities.

Responsibilities: 

• Producing detail designs, concept stage to IFC stage for pressurized water network, firefighting, irrigation; pumping stations, water storage tanks ; and other water-related projects
• Undertake model build and calibration of water network hydraulic models using a range of modelling software and other tools including spreadsheets.
• Surge Analysis, Transiant wave analysis
• Hydraulic modelling and design of Bulk infrastructure and reticulation systems (distribution, transmission, pumping), Pumpstation and reservoir designs
• Preparation of project specifications, bill of quantities and tender documentation, Data sheets.
• Water master planning.
• P&I of pumping stations/Water Tanks.
• Design Pump duty condition/ system curve, pump parallel/series operation
• Carry out system performance analysis, development assessment and operational scenario planning using hydraulic models and other tools as required.
• Prepare report for modelling projects suitable for review and client presentation.
• Provide input into project activities, including fee estimating and scoping of projects.
• Work proactively within a team to ensure the production of quality deliverables.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in detail design for Water Infrastructure projects in Road, Rail and urban projects.
• Experience in the design of water demand management and design of water reticulation systems, reservoirs, pumpstations – advantageous
• Skilled in hydraulic model build, verification and calibration using hydraulic modelling tools. 
• Experience in the design water network designs.
• Knowledge and understanding of international codes and standards.
• Ability to work well as part of a team or on an individual basis.

Job Roles / Responsibilities

Civil Engineering Duties

Assist engineers in planning and coordination of construction and installation works

Interpret and review engineering drawings, layout plans and technical specifications

Conduct site inspection and supervision to ensure work quality and compliance

Assist in preparation of technical reports, documentation and progress records

Support project scheduling and coordination of site activities

Assist in quantity take-off and material estimation

Ensure installation works follow approved drawings and project requirements

Assist in coordination of structural supports such as brackets and mounting systems

Identify technical issues and report to project engineer

Ensure compliance with Singapore engineering standards and BCA guidelines

Aircon / HVAC Related Duties

Assist supervision of installation works for split unit, multi split, VRV/VRF, cassette and ducted air-conditioning systems

Coordinate installation works with technicians and contractors

Review installation layout to ensure proper placement of indoor and outdoor units

Assist in checking copper piping, insulation and drainage installation

Assist troubleshooting and identify installation or system issues

Support preparation of installation checklist and service reports

Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations

Assist in quality inspection of completed aircon installation works

Ensure proper material usage such as piping supports and mounting structures

Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering

Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in construction, engineering, or HVAC related projects

Experience in site supervision, installation coordination, or technical documentation

Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and layout interpretation

Understanding of construction or building services works

Knowledge of HVAC installation process is advantage

Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) practices preferred

Good problem-solving and technical coordination skills

Able to work on-site and support project team

Good communication and teamwork skills
