Job Responsibilities:

• Trouble shoot and repair or faulty production equipment
• Improve and upgrading of Production equipment hardware and control (software)

• Support new program / model start-up

QC Inspector

Department: Quality Control / Manufacturing

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Inspector to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring product quality, preventing defects, and assisting in timely problem resolution. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining inspection standards and supporting continuous improvement on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hourly in-process X-Ray buyoff to ensure product compliance
• Record, monitor, and maintain accurate inspection results and quality data
• Identify and report abnormalities to the Engineering Assistant for further action
• Support manufacturing teams in diagnosing issues to prevent recurring defects
• Control and segregate non-conforming products to prevent further processing until disposition is determined

Job Description

Support new product introduction (NPI) and develop manufacturing test solutions for electronic products. Involved in designing test equipment, developing test software, and ensuring smooth transition from design to production.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test equipment and fixtures

• Develop/modify test software (C++, C#)

Process Engineering Assistant (MNC Electronic Assembly)

Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Process Engineering Assistant to join a New Product Introduction (NPI) team in a leading MNC electronics manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes, ensuring smooth transition of new products into production in accordance with established development standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the introduction of new products into the manufacturing facility in line with Common Product Development (CPD) processes
• Work closely with Industrialization Process Engineers to optimise product and process design for manufacturability
• Assist in developing and implementing manufacturing layouts, processes, and related documentation
• Support execution of prototype and pilot build activities
• Support SMT and backend manufacturing processes, including testing activities
• Assist in programming Universal SMT equipment for prototype processing
• Set up and calibrate equipment for prototype builds, including SPI, SMT, Reflow, Wave Soldering, and Routing processes

Requirements

• Diploma or ITE in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related discipline
• 2–3 years of experience in electronic manufacturing/assembly is an advantage
• Good understanding of PCB design, SMT processes, test equipment, and machinery setup
• Familiarity with IPC standards and PCB design guidelines preferred
• Experience with CAMCAD tools is an added advantage

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Participate in the new product design evaluation process. Provide design for test feedback and or requirements to the product team during the design phase to assure testability and test coverage as part of the validation plan. Based on the design requirements, develop a test plan and test specification. Manage and communicate project timelines and action plans effectively to deliver cost-effective test solutions on schedule and within budget.
• Mental and visual ability to independently design, develop and implement software using multiple programming languages (including C++, C#, NI TestStand or PLC, etc.) for production test equipment.
• Assist in development and implementation of departmental objectives. Help implement production and test strategies to meet financial objectives. Maintain and track project financials and timelines to meet the assigned project deliverables.
• Develop and implement strategies for the procurement and installation of all test related capital equipment required for production facilities.
• Responsible for design of electrical circuitry, properly sizing components and working with vendors to develop test fixtures. Selects proper test strategies based on test coverage requirements to ensure a safe, reliable, manufacturing test solution
• Create and release documentation on all aspects of the test solution: ▪ Manufacturing Test Plan ▪ Test specification ▪ Test coverage ▪ Test Procedures
• Demonstrate use of appropriate Lean Six Sigma tools for test equipment qualification, test system problem solving, and identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering (EE), Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), Electrical Engineering/Computer Science (EE/CS), equivalent education, or experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a test engineer contributor in a team oriented project environment, including design and development of test equipment for production.
• Experience developing and implementing software using languages or platforms such as C, C++, C#, NI Test Stand, etc. a plus
• Candidate must have the ability to read and interpret new product designs consisting of electronic circuit schematics and bills of materials (BOM).
• Knowledge of electronic hardware.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analysis, and problem solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communications in English.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office programs.
