Qualifications

• Knowledge of plastics trading, market trends, and supply chain operations is an advantage.

Summary of the role:

The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving growth in hospitality services across onshore and offshore markets. This includes identifying and developing new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships and promoting hospitality solutions such as catering, housekeeping, facility cleaning, pest control and related services. The role also provides operational support for project mobilization, ensures compliance with HSE standards and contributes to the continuous improvement of service quality and efficiency.

Scope and Key Responsibilities:

 Business Development and Marketing:                                                               

▌ Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities within onshore and offshore hospitality services.

▌ Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring services meet and exceed client expectations.

▌ Conduct sales visits, presentations, and negotiations with prospective and existing clients.

▌ Develop proposals, quotations, and business cases in coordination with management.

▌ Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations across catering, housekeeping, facility cleaning, pest control, and other hospitality services.

▌ Coordinate project mobilization activities, including manpower planning, crew deployment, travel logistics, and compliance requirements.

▌ Monitor operational performance through inspections, service quality checks, and KPI tracking.

▌ Oversee procurement, provisions, and stock management to ensure efficiency and cost control.

▌ Compile and submit regular reports covering manpower, service delivery, client feedback, stock utilization, and cost performance.

Admin and HR Support:

▌ Recruit, train, and supervise staff for onshore and offshore hospitality projects.

▌ Maintain a pool of qualified candidates for key roles such as Catering Supervisors, Housekeeping Leads, and Chefs.

▌ Ensure compliance with labor law, HR governance policies, and offshore staffing regulations.

▌ Monitor employee performance and development, conduct appraisals, and recommend training/coaching.

▌ Address employee relations issues fairly and ensure compliance with HR procedures and employment standards.

HSE & Compliance:

▌ Ensure adherence to HSE procedures across all hospitality service lines (onshore and offshore).

▌  Support implementation of food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and safe workpractices.

▌  Conduct risk assessments and support safety drills, toolbox talks, and compliancemonitoring.

▌ Uphold health, safety, and environmental regulations in all operations and service delivery.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders

Pre-Sales & Technical Consultation:

• Engage customers to understand their application needs (printing, packaging, branding, sustainability goals)
• Recommend suitable paper and board grades based on performance, cost, and end-use requirements
• Provide technical support on printability, runnability, and conversion performance
• Work closely with mills and internal teams to align product offerings with customer requirements

Market Intelligence & Strategy:

• Gather insights on market trends, pricing, competitor activity, and customer needs
• Support product positioning and go-to-market strategies
• Identify opportunities for new product introductions or exclusive representations

Marketing & Industry Engagement:

• Support marketing activities including product launches, presentations, and customer workshops
• Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to promote company’s offerings
• Assist in developing sales materials and solution-based presentations

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the print, paper, packaging, or board industry
• Strong understanding of:

Paper and board grades (coated, uncoated, folding boxboard, etc.)

Printing processes (offset, digital, flexo, gravure)

Packaging and branding applications

• Existing network within printers, converters, or brand owners is highly advantageous

QuikBot Technologies is a Singapore-based robotics and smart infrastructure company developing autonomous delivery and robotics infrastructure solutions for commercial buildings, business parks, smart precincts and urban environments.

We are looking for a proactive, organised and hands-on Project & Events Executive to support the planning and execution of technology deployments, customer demonstrations, industry events, training programmes and operational projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Travelling within Singapore is expected, and occasional overseas travel may be required depending on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

• Coordinate day-to-day project activities to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Support project managers in planning, scheduling and monitoring project progress.
• Liaise with customers, contractors, vendors, landlords and internal departments.
• Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, meeting minutes and project updates.
• Coordinate procurement, logistics and inventory required for project implementation.
• Track project timelines, deliverables and action items.
• Assist in onsite deployment activities when required.

Event Planning & Management

• Plan and organise product launches, demonstrations, exhibitions, conferences, workshops and customer engagement events.
• Coordinate venue bookings, event logistics and equipment transportation.
• Liaise with event organisers, suppliers and service providers.
• Prepare event schedules, registration materials and presentation resources.
• Support setup and teardown of exhibition booths and demonstration areas.
• Coordinate visitor management during events.
• Ensure events are delivered professionally and within budget.
• Travelling may be required

Operational Support

• Assist with scheduling field engineers and deployment teams.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodation where necessary.
• Maintain accurate project and event records.
• Prepare operational reports and presentation materials.
• Support customer onboarding activities where required.
• Assist with training sessions for customers and partners.
• Handle general administrative duties relating to projects and events.

Stakeholder Management

• Build positive working relationships with clients, government agencies, landlords, business partners and vendors.
• Attend project meetings and prepare follow-up documentation.
• Coordinate communication between internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism when representing QuikBot.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Project Management, Events Management, Engineering, Marketing, Hospitality or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, event management, operations or administrative support is advantageous.
• Experience working in technology, robotics, engineering or logistics industries will be an added advantage.

Skills

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
