Role Overview
We are a growing SME in the automotive financing sector, currently building new digital systems to improve our financing operations, dealer management, customer onboarding and internal workflows. As part of this, we are strengthening how we track our data and produce management reporting.
We are looking for a hands-on junior team member to support these digital and reporting initiatives. Working closely with and under the direction of the General Manager, the role helps document workflows, build dashboards and reports, test new systems, and support staff in using them day to day.
This is a learning and execution role. You will not be expected to lead vendor relationships or sign off on requirements on your own — those sit with the General Manager. Instead, you will do the hands-on work that turns plans into working systems and clear reports, and grow into greater ownership over time.
Reporting To
This role reports directly to the General Manager, who sets priorities, approves requirements, and holds the relationships with external technology partners. The role works alongside the operations, finance and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process & Workflow Support
•    Help document the company’s current financing, dealer, customer and administrative workflows.
•    Note where there is duplicated work, manual effort or room for automation, and raise these to the GM.
•    Draw clear workflow diagrams of existing and proposed processes.
2. Reporting & Dashboards
•    Build and maintain dashboards and reports under the GM’s direction, covering areas such as the loan book, disbursement, credit quality and collections.
•    Help keep reporting consistent so everyone works from the same numbers.
•    Check data for errors and inconsistencies, and help clean up records.
•    Use Excel or Google Sheets, and business intelligence tool such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker Studio.
3. Requirements & Coordination Support
•    Help gather requirements from users and write them up clearly for the GM to review.
•    Prepare simple user stories, notes and acceptance criteria.
•    Help track open questions, pending decisions and outstanding items, and follow up on them.
•    Support communication with external development partners, with the GM holding the relationship.
4. Testing & Quality Checks
•    Prepare and run user acceptance testing on new features against agreed requirements.
•    Record bugs, gaps and improvement requests clearly.
•    Help re-test fixes and confirm systems are ready before use.
5. Implementation & User Support
•    Help prepare user guides, SOPs and simple training materials.
•    Support staff in learning new systems and workflows.
•    Check in on how systems are being used after launch and gather feedback.
6. Simple Tools & Automation
•    Build simple spreadsheets, calculators or trackers where useful.
•    Try low-code, no-code or AI-assisted tools to test ideas quickly, under guidance.
•    Always check with the GM or the development partner before changes that could affect live systems or data.

Essential Skills & Attributes
•    1–3 years of relevant experience (business analysis, data, or systems support).
•    Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets.
•    Basic SQL, or a clear willingness to learn it quickly.
•    Organised, careful with detail, and reliable in following through on tasks.
•    Willing to learn, ask questions, and take direction.
•    Clear written communication for documenting processes and reports.
Advantageous
•    Exposure to a business intelligence tool (Power BI, Tableau or Looker Studio).
•    Any exposure to financial services, lending, hire purchase or automotive.
•    Familiarity with low-code, no-code or AI-assisted tools.
•    Experience with project or documentation tools such as Notion, Trello or ClickUp.
