Job Descriptions:

• Assists Project Manager/M&E Manager in project performance through effective co-ordination of project activities.
• Attends external project kick-off meetings, meetings with consultants as well as technical and co-ordination meetings, daily project meetings and internal project closure meeting;
• Assists Project Manager in carrying out all shop drawings and submission with Drafting Department;
• Assists Project Manager in carrying out risk assessment and other risk management activities; makes recommendations on risk control measures; communicating risk assessment to all workers;
• Ensures all contractors are safety inducted and issued with Permit before work commencement;
• Ensures the adherence to the safe work procedure (SWP) established; to inform project manager or project director of any shortcoming in the SWP or risk control measures implemented;
• Resolves site problems proactively in a timely manner and seeks advice from Project Manager/M&E Manager as appropriate;
• Ensures the timely preparation of project progress and other reports;
• Follows up on all aspects of QA/QC matters; records all defects works and ensure proper documentation;
• Co-ordinates daily activities of workers’ duties and to ensure that they are performed in a proper manner;
• Makes daily checks on work progress, housekeeping and safety implementation on site with safety personnel;
• Assists the Project Manager in conducting Mass Tool Box meeting with safety personnel;
• Orders materials required for projects;
• Assists in promoting good team morale and team spirit in the project team;
• Any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• 2 years related experience in interior works or related construction industries
• Possess the relevant safety certifications like SCWSH / BCSS
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Degree in Architecture / Civil Engineering / Construction or related courses
• Prior project co-ordination experience will be added advantage

Role of Position

• The Senior Project Manager responsible for leading the overall planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale construction projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, scope, budget, and schedule. This role provides strategic direction, oversees multiple project teams, and fosters strong collaboration with clients, consultants, and stakeholders. The Senior Project Manager ensures all works are executed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across projects.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, manage multiple projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans which includes timelines, resource allocation, risk management.
• Oversee site progress and coordinate with construction teams for quality and safety.
• Review and approve technical drawings, shop drawings, material submissions.
• Conduct regular project meetings with internal teams, consultants, clients.
• Manage and resolve technical and contractual issues.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets and financial forecasts.
• Control project costs, manage variations, claims, change orders
• Ensure accurate project billing and timely progress claims.
• Serve as main point of contact for clients and consultants.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors.
• Communicate project progress and issues promptly and professionally.
• Lead, mentor, motivate Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, Supervisors.
• Ensure clear delegation of responsibilities and alignment of objectives.
• Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, company policies.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PE, or WSQ Project Management qualifications are advantageous

Approximate Years of Experience

• Minimum 10-15 years of relevant working experience in construction or interior fit-out industry, including at least 5 years in a project management leadership role
• Proven track record in managing large-scale commercial, hospitality, retail, or institutional projects in Singapore

Job Description:

• Plan, organize and carried out project management activities to ensure that assigned projects are executed in a smooth and effective manner to achieve and exceed the cost, quality, timelines and customer satisfaction objectives;
• Ensure that safety procedures are incorporated in all project management activities and takes initiatives to promote a safety working culture;
• Review contract documentation in conjunction with B.Q. and material specifications;
• Manage the profit and loss of the project;
• Plan for site mobilization and work sequential execution;
