Job Purpose

Global Funding (Treasury) technology team is looking for a senior engineer to join our team. The role will cover Development as well as Level 3 support within the APAC team. The team is working on multiple deliverables, and you will therefore need to be agile in moving between roles and projects.

What you will do:

As GSAM - Technical Architect, you will be responsible for Leads design, positioning, and technical execution of advanced thermal and cooling solutions for global data center customers. Acts as a trusted advisor aligning customer requirements with optimized, scalable, and energy-efficient architectures across chiller, liquid cooling, and central plant systems. Partners closely with Global Strategic Account Managers (GSAMs) to align technical solutions with account strategy, drive customer engagement, and accelerate deal conversion. Serves as a global customer advocate, ensuring alignment between customer needs, solution delivery, and long-term partnership objectives.

How you will do it:

• Architect end-to-end thermal solutions (air-cooled, liquid cooling, hybrid systems) aligned with hyper scale and colocation requirements
• Translate customer technical requirements into optimized system designs, including capacity modeling and performance trade-offs

The Centre of Excellence in Maritime Safety (CEMS) is a national R&D centre, a collaborative effort between Singapore Polytechnic and the Singapore Maritime Institute. About the Role

The appointee will be part of the CEMS AI & Software team in developing digital solutions to enhance simulator training and assessment, innovate in training pedagogy for the maritime industry. The role may also involve contributing to department- and school-level software initiatives that support digitalisation and automation across R&D, operations, and education.

Responsibilities:

• Lead projects and provide technical contributions across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering with industry partners and internal stakeholders.

• Work closely with the AI team at CEMS to deploy and integrate AI solutions—such as Natural Language Processing, computer vision, and data analytics —into simulation platforms to enhance training and assessment capabilities.

• Collaborate with third-party simulator technology and solution providers to design and develop reusable code libraries and scalable APIs for integration and interoperability.

• Drive improvements to existing software systems by identifying performance bottlenecks, refactoring codebases, and enhancing maintainability and scalability.

  Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

1. Administers and monitors transactional collateral for Commodity Structured Trade Finance.

2. Responsible for transactional and operational integrity of the credit facility structure especially in areas of Settlement risk, Operational risk, and Performance risk.

3. Work closely with Relationship Managers (RM), Back-office operations (STO) and Credit Risk Managers (CRM) as well as GTS Sales and Product to co-ordinate and leverage on the expertise of each party. STMO Account Officers-In-Charge (OIC) interfaces regularly with Compliance and Legal entities.

4. Ensures that all credit policies, NPAs, and SOPs are adhered to and update all transactions in CMS as well as UDMAs.

5. To deliver Structured Trade Finance services to clients in accordance with established quality, service standards (SLA) and established Procedures, Policy, and Standards.

6. Perform Mark to Market (MTM) valuation, monitor cash collateral requirements follow up on top-ups when under-collateralized.

7. Monitor Loan to Value (LTV) ratio to ensure that it is not breached and conduct margin calls whenever necessary.

8. Alert RM and Credit Risk of any potential risks which might endanger the underlying asset or identify the source of repayment in a timely manner.
