The Chargeman BO (11kV) is to oversee and manage the operation and maintenance of high voltage (HV) electrical systems up to 11kV.The candidate must ensure the electrical installations and equipment comply with Energy Commission of Sabah (ECOS) regulations and safety standards.

Job Description:

• Operate, inspect, and maintain 11kV switchgears, transformers, and associated electrical systems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and troubleshoot breakdowns of electrical systems
• Ensure the electrical systems complies with Energy Commission of Sabah (ECOS) regulations and safety standards.
• Prepare reports for inspections, maintenance, and system performance.
• Supervise electrical technicians and coordinate with contractors during repairs and maintenance.
• Respond to electrical emergencies and restore power with minimal downtime.
• Monitor power consumption and propose energy-saving initiatives.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintain equipment logs.
• Liaise with utility providers (e.g.SESB) and regulatory bodies when required.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and progress reports.

• Act as a secretary for HSE committee meeting and prepare minute of meetings and monthly reports to Management
• To develop HSE Legal Register to address all HSE legal requirements applicable at workplace & site.
• To liaise with authorities/ regulatory bodies (DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, etc.) on matters pertaining to HSE to ensure compliance with mandatory regulations.
• To monitor the implementation of ISO 9001,14001 & 45001 standard at office & site and advice on improvement action.
• To submit notification of accident and incident report within 24 hours and prepare full investigation report
• To advice in developing and maintaining Context of Organization documents (RBT), Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC), Environmental Aspect and Impact Register (EAIR)
• To execute the development, implementation & maintenance of the QSHE documentation and ERT program
• To notify state JKKP (DOSH) in case of fatality and prepare full report within one (1) month after the accident/incident to state JKKP (DOSH)
• To execute ISO audit and site inspection in compliance with schedule and regulations
• To ensure the validity of CIDB green card for all project personnel and maintain record
• Continuously promote awareness on HSE to all levels of employees through meeting, briefing, training and induction.
• Other tasks & projects as assigned from time to time
• This position will based in Sandakan, Sabah and also Kudat, Sabah.

Job requirement:

• At least a degree in Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Engineering or subject related to Safety & Health
• Minimum 3 years’ working experiences in related position/ industry
• Working knowledge in QMS-ISO9001, ISO45001 and ISO14001 standard in the construction industry
• Ability to conduct audit related to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018
• Good knowledge in legal requirements and good environmental, safety and health practices
• Willing to travel when required
• Good report preparation, communication, and interpersonal skills with internal and external parties Self-motivated, able to work with minimum supervision
• Good computer literacy
• Priority will be given to those who have green book .
• Salary range RM 5,000.00 – RM 5,500.00

Huraian kerja:

• Bertindak sebagai setiausaha mesyuarat jawatankuasa HSE dan menyediakan minit mesyuarat dan laporan bulanan kepada Pihak Pengurusan
• Untuk membangunkan Daftar Perundangan HSE bagi menangani semua keperluan perundangan HSE yang terpakai di tempat kerja & tapak.
• Untuk berhubung dengan pihak berkuasa/badan kawal selia (DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, dll.) mengenai perkara berkaitan HSE bagi memastikan pematuhan dengan peraturan mandatori.
• Untuk memantau pelaksanaan piawaian ISO 9001,14001 & 45001 di pejabat & tapak serta memberi nasihat tentang tindakan penambahbaikan.
• Mengemukakan notifikasi laporan kemalangan dan insiden dalam tempoh 24 jam dan menyediakan laporan siasatan penuh
• Memberi nasihat dalam membangunkan dan menyelenggara dokumen Konteks Organisasi (RBT), Pengenalpastian Bahaya, Penilaian Risiko dan Kawalan Risiko (HIRARC), Daftar Aspek dan Impak Alam Sekitar (EAIR)

Keperluan pekerjaan:

• Sekurang-kurangnya ijazah dalam Kejuruteraan Kesihatan, Keselamatan & Alam Sekitar Pekerjaan atau subjek yang berkaitan dengan Keselamatan & Kesihatan
• Minimum 3 tahun pengalaman kerja dalam jawatan/industri berkaitan
• Pengetahuan kerja dalam piawaian QMS-ISO9001, ISO45001 dan ISO14001 dalam industri pembinaan
• Kebolehan menjalankan audit berkaitan ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 dan ISO 45001:2018
• Pengetahuan yang baik dalam keperluan perundangan dan amalan alam sekitar, keselamatan dan kesihatan yang baik
• Bersedia untuk melancong apabila diperlukan
