Who You Are
Must-Haves

• Senior technical leader with 10+ years in systems architecture, platform engineering, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience designing and owning complex multi-layer systems — hardware, software, workflow, or equivalent.
• Proven ability to define architecture under ambiguity — before all requirements are finalized.
• AI-native operator: experienced using AI as a modeling and requirement-expansion tool, not just an execution aid.
• Platform thinker with experience transitioning a product company toward scalable, modular platform architecture.
• English proficiency at professional working level — able to lead technical discussions, produce architecture documents, and communicate with global stakeholders.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams in complex, multi-disciplinary environments.

A major global financial services institution is looking to bring in a delivery‑focused Technology Project Manager to support mission‑critical banking technology initiatives across its APAC portfolio. This is a hands‑on role focused on driving outcomes in a complex, high‑visibility environment — not just governance or reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of banking technology projects, from planning through execution, testing, and go‑live
• Drive milestones, timelines, dependencies, risks, and issue resolution — personally accountable for delivery
• Work across Agile and Waterfall delivery models, depending on market and project maturity
• Lead Agile ceremonies where applicable (stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Adapt delivery approach in markets that are partially or fully Waterfall‑driven
• Remove delivery blockers and keep teams focused on execution
• Partner closely with BAs, testers, and engineers across onshore and offshore teams
• Actively manage defects raised during SIT/UAT
• Coordinate testing cycles, acceptance criteria, and production readiness

Experience Required

• Comfortable chasing updates, managing slippage, and driving accountability
• Confident working with stakeholders in a large regulated banking environment
• Able to push back constructively and manage competing priorities
• Experience managing defects across large testing teams
• Understands that defects are delivery blockers — and actively drives resolution
• Background delivering technology projects within banks or financial services institutions
• Comfortable operating in a high‑performance, fast‑paced environment
• Able to manage pressure pragmatically and sustainably
