We are seeking a Data Engineer to support and advance the organization’s data-driven and self-service analytics strategy. This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data platforms that transform raw data into trusted, analytics-ready assets.

The position plays a critical role in enabling enterprise reporting, governing Self-Service Intelligence SSI, and high-performance Power BI analytics. The successful candidate will work across hybrid data environments, ensuring data quality, reliability, security, and performance while empowering business users with timely and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade data pipelines supporting analytics, reporting, and self-service BI use cases
• Build and optimize ETL and ELT workflows using SQL Server Integration Services SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and equivalent data integration tools
• Enhance and refactor existing SSIS packages to improve performance, scalability, and operational stability
• Integrate data from multiple internal and external data sources across on-premises and cloud environments
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data consumers to translate reporting and analytical requirements into production-ready data solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline

• Strong proficiency in SQL with solid experience in query optimization and performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services SSIS for enterprise ETL development

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using Java
• Build and enhance backend services, APIs, and microservices architectures
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and documentation
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Strong experience in Java development (Spring Boot preferred)
• Proven experience in building scalable and distributed systems
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud environments
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and performance tuning
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Good to Have

• Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

• Develop and maintain Unix Shell scripts and Pro*C and Power Builder applications
• Design and implement Oracle stored procedures and triggers
• Perform impact analysis for new enhancements
• Act in a Business Analyst capacity including:
