Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience supporting and automating environments for Temenos T24 / Transact applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in CI/CD implementation, cloud and infrastructure automation, container platforms, and deployment management within banking or financial services ecosystems.

The role involves working closely with development, QA, infrastructure, and release teams to streamline deployments, improve platform stability, and enhance operational efficiency across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines for Temenos T24 / Transact applications.
• Manage CI/CD workflows using industry-standard DevOps tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management processes.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of production and non-production environments.
• Work with cloud and on-prem infrastructure teams to ensure high availability and system reliability.
• Manage containerized workloads and orchestration platforms.
• Implement release automation and environment standardization practices.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and resolve issues proactively.
• Collaborate with application support and development teams during releases and incident management.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience with Temenos T24 / Temenos Transact
• Hands-on experience in DevOps engineering and automation
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Experience with Linux administration and scripting
• Hands-on exposure to container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of deployment automation and release management processes
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in banking or financial services domain
• Knowledge of configuration management tools
• Exposure to production support and environment management
• Understanding of networking, security groups, load balancers, and cloud architecture
• Familiarity with agile delivery models and DevOps best practices
• Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications are an advantage

Educational Qualification

Roles & Responsibilities

Description

This role is for a Lead Technical Consultant (Temenos) with a deep understanding of private banking modules.

Responsibilities

∙Development and functtional experience with T24 and TAFJ R23 or higher in a multi-company multi-

application server set-up

∙To be able to understand technical solution for the application (temenos / TAP / Infinity) so that he/she

can also contribute and lead functional discussions

∙To handle end to end of functional implementation of complex and custom-built solution

∙Work collaboratively with team to achieve goals. Experience working in a Safe Agile environment

∙Ensure Organization’s development standards and Banking best practices are followed in conjunction with

Temenos Applications

∙Impact assessment of all Temenos application changes and identify downstream impact

∙Ensure Design uses the correct integration patterns and formats

∙Ensure Design is fully scalable, reliable and resilient and Design is not creating any platform debt (or) using

any obsolete technology

∙Documentation updates and sign off like JIRA, Confluence, unit test documents, source code review

reports, sonar scans, vulnerability scans, operational handover documents, etc.

∙Inform client application platform Lead of any item to report to security, IT risk, architecture to register

∙Close collaboration with Business Engineers, System Architects, PMs, test management teams

∙Continuous sharing of latest banking functional concepts with team

∙Investigate and resolve production issues (RTB) to help maintain a stable production environment; remain

cool and effective in crisis

∙Participate in reviews meetings and provide updates on project progress

∙Effectively manage the development resources and deliveries from the squad

∙Drive and review technical and architectural design, enforce architectural guidelines and challenge status

quo

Skills Requirement

∙Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Information Technology/Computer Science/Related Field

∙10-15 years of Functional and Technical experience in Temenos application platforms

∙Deep understanding of the Private banking modules and Temenos Application Services framework to build

robust solutions

∙Implementation experience of the SWIFT messaging, interfacing patterns, STP processes

∙Able to translate functional requirements to efficient and fit-for-purpose technical solutions

∙Systematic and meticulous, good communication skills, work ethics & service attitude

∙Hands on experience with Temenos Integration & Interaction frameworks and Streaming solutions

∙Fair understanding of the Application deployment architecture and infrastructure

Technical Skills

∙Temenos R23 and higher, TAFJ R23 and higher and TAP

∙Multi-Company set-up and multi-app server set-up

∙Experience with T24 development on Cloud environments

∙Experience in Temenos Unit Test framework

∙Integration framework, Outbox Event Streaming and Interaction framework (IRIS), MQ, JBOSS
