PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

• To establish, lead, and manage the APAC HR Shared Services Centre, ensuring efficient, standardized, and high-quality HR service delivery across countries. The role is accountable for operational excellence, service governance, and continuous improvement of HR processes post-implementation.
• The Head of HR SSC acts as the operational owner, ensuring services are delivered in line with defined SLAs, compliance requirements, and business expectations.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES

• Establish and Lead the Team: Build and lead the HR Shared Services team, including hiring new members and developing a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Improve Operational Efficiency: Design and implement centralized processes to achieve operational efficiency while providing high-quality HR services.
• Service Delivery: Develop and execute a service delivery framework to ensure exceptional responsiveness and alignment with the organization’s strategic priorities.
• Employee Experience: Oversee the smooth execution of employee life-cycle events such as onboarding, benefits administration, leave management, and offboarding programs.
• Data Integrity and Reporting: Ensure the accuracy of employee data within HR systems and generate regular reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps, refine processes, and implement innovative solutions to enhance the overall effectiveness of the shared services model.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to local labour laws and HR policies across all regions served by the shared services team.
• Stakeholder Management: Partner with HR Business Partners, Centres of Excellence, and senior leadership to align shared services priorities with broader organizational goals.
• Training and Development: Mentor and coach team members to foster growth and ensure high engagement within the team.

• Partner with business leaders to deliver strategic HR solutions aligned with business goals.
• Provide advisory support on HR matters including onboarding, performance, and exits.
• Collaborate with OD to drive the performance management and talent development.
• Collaborate with the TA team to support recruitment efforts and strengthen employer branding.
• Drive HR strategies including workforce planning, talent development, and organisational effectiveness.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive, performance-driven culture.
• Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and compliance.
• Support manpower planning and ensure resource readiness to meet business demands.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on compensation & benefits benchmarking and reward strategies.
• Implement HR policies, programmes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local labour regulations.
• Analyse HR metrics and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage day-to-day HR operations by working closely with the HR Shared Services team.

• End-to-end senior hiring across APAC:

Own full-cycle recruitment for senior and leadership roles across multiple APAC countries, including intake, sourcing strategy, longlisting, interviews, offer management, and onboarding handover.

• Stakeholder partnership:

Partner with hiring managers and HRBPs to clarify requirements, build assessment plans, and provide market insights (talent availability, compensation ranges, competitor mapping) to drive timely decisions.

• Proactive sourcing & talent mapping:

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill senior roles using direct search, referrals, networking, and targeted outreach; build pipelines for priority functions and geographies.

• Talent pool management:

Build and maintain a high-quality APAC talent pool for priority senior roles through ongoing engagement, pipeline nurturing, and periodic talent reviews; ensure readiness for future hiring needs.

• TA projects & continuous improvement:

Support regional TA initiatives such as process optimization, AI and digitalization, ATS/reporting enhancement, interview capability building, and employer branding activities; contribute to standardization and best-practice sharing across APAC.

• Process, compliance & reporting:

Ensure recruiting processes comply with local labor practices and internal policies across markets; maintain accurate ATS data and provide regular updates on pipeline, time-to-fill, and hiring risks.
