What you’ll do

• Lead the APAC Business Development relationship, named strategic partners. Assess joint opportunity market trends, translate strategic opportunity and lead cross-functional teams within Digital Realty and across the partners.

The Corporate Finance Team 

At Grant Thornton, our Corporate Finance team helps a diverse client base with their M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory needs. Responsibilities 

• Originate and develop transaction opportunities, leading client coverage efforts and sourcing M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory mandates. 
• Drive P&L performance through effective deal origination and execution, translating advisory mandates into revenue growth and improved profitability.

Qualifications & requirements

• 8+ years’ experience in banking or another financial companies

Required Qualifications

Technical Expertise

Must demonstrate high proficiency in at least 3 of the following areas:

• Full Stack Development: 10+ years of hands-on experience with modern web technologies like React/Next.js, Node.js for front-end and/or Java/Spring Boot or similar for back-end technologies
• Cloud Architecture: Proven experience designing and implementing solutions on Azure (preferred) or AWS/GCP, including microservices and serverless patterns
• Mobile Development: Experience with React Native, Flutter, or native iOS/Android development
• DevOps Practices: Strong understanding of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and observability
• Database & Data Systems: Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, caching strategies, and event streaming (Kafka preferred)
• API Design: Expertise in RESTful API design, GraphQL, and API gateway patterns

Leadership & Management

• 5+ years of engineering management experience or technical leadership with direct reports
• Proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining engineering talent
• Experience managing performance, including coaching underperformers and promoting high performers
• Demonstrated ability to balance significant technical contribution (50%+) with people management responsibilities
• Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones

Job Scope

Our client is seeking a driven and dynamic Finance Director to work in close partnership with the CFO, taking broad ownership across financial operations, reporting, planning and analysis, audit, tax and risk management. You will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, lead budgeting and forecasting processes, and deliver sharp performance insights to support executive decision-making. You will evaluate investment opportunities and business cases, support treasury and capital management activities, and drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and controls.

This is a role for a leader equally comfortable at the strategic and hands-on level. You will lead transformation initiatives, support M&A and growth initiatives, and manage external audit relationships and board reporting requirements.
