Senior Executive, Finance

• Working Days & Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 6.00pm or 8.30am – 5.30pm.

• Location: NTU, 61 Nanyang Drive

• Salary: $3,200-$4,500 (Good experiences candidate can try $5000)

• Hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office and 2 days work-from-home) available upon confirmation, subject to performance and management approval.

Responsibilities

• Support the company's accounting and taxation functions and ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations.

• Assist with financial and management reporting, including variance analysis between actual figures and budgets.

• Assist in budget preparation and periodic forecasting.

• Handle company tax, GST, and withholding tax reporting.

• Manage core accounting functions, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Implement and review financial policies and procedures.

• Support ERP system management, digitalization initiatives, and system migration exercises.

• Manage and track grant funding opportunities.

• Handle corporate, legal, and secretarial matters.

• Assist the Managing Director and Group Head in evaluating new business opportunities and conducting financial due diligence for acquisitions.

• Liaise with the holding company in Germany, external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and operational stakeholders.

• Perform ad-hoc duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, or CPA qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience. Candidates with at least 3 years of relevant experience and a stable employment history (minimum 3 consecutive years with one company) may also be considered.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Experience with ERP systems, accounting software, and digitalization initiatives
• Experience with Microsoft NAV and Microsoft Business Central. Prior involvement in Microsoft NAV migration projects is an advantage.
• Familiarity with grant management, corporate secretarial matters, and financial due diligence is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Treaty Claims Technician to support the claims team in managing reinsurance treaty claims. This is an entry-level role that offers a unique opportunity to learn about treaty structures, claims processes, and reinsurance operations from the ground up.

The successful candidate will assist in reviewing and recording claims data against treaty contracts and ensuring accurate and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Claims Processing Support:

1. Assist in reviewing loss bordereaux and claims submissions from cedents.
2. Enter claim data into internal systems and ensure completeness of documentation.
3. Track open claims and follow up on outstanding information or updates.

• Documentation & Data Management:

1. Maintain organized digital records of claims files.
2. Support the team in preparing claims summaries and internal reports.

• Team Collaboration:

1. Work closely with various internal stakeholders.
2. Liaise with brokers and cedents on basic claims inquiries.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma holders/ degree in any discipline. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
• 0–2 years of experience in (re)insurance, finance, or a similar analytical role.
• Basic understanding of reinsurance or insurance principles preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with claims or reinsurance systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Scope:

• Support updates to the Chart of Accounts (COA) in the central system, including data verification for migration, system testing, and documentation of processes
• Assist in system enhancements by managing Change Requests and participating in new feature testing
• Maintain and update master data within the central system
• Organize, review, and update user guides and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Diploma in any relevant field
