Cloud Support Engineers are responsible for providing technical support for a set of Strategy Products.  This person dedicates his/her time to resolving customer issues, contributing to the growth of our Strategy Community, and further growing their Strategy Product Knowledge to provide top-notch service.  To succeed in this role this person must be passionate about our technology, thrive in challenging situations, and have a strong desire to help others

Responsibilities 

• Provide support for Strategy’s Business Intelligence product suite, Cloud platform, and its underlying technologies 
• Develop strong relationships with Strategy customers and partners through daily, high quality interactions during customer project development and production system maintenance 
• Find creative and sophisticated solutions to complex or higher priority problems reported while using Strategy’s product suite through analytical talent and strong troubleshooting abilities 
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with peers, internal application and software development teams 
• Prioritize and communicate product defects and enhancements to development teams 
• Contribute to the growth of the Strategy Community by creating customer-facing documentation of all technical solutions and product documentation addendums 
• Enhance personal and professional growth by participating in Internal Development Programs 
• Work in a strong team environment 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field (Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science) 
• Exposure to Python, REST API, Java, SQL, HTML, or XML/XSL technologies 
• Windows/Linux system administration knowledge 
• Minimum of 2 years of IT customer service experience / strong customer focus 
• Minimum of 1 year of MicroStrategy Platform usage or administration knowledge 
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and experience 
• Strong Time management skills to prioritize workload, multi-task, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities under pressure  

Preferred Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Bilingual, with proficiency in both English and Japanese.

Responsibilities

• Advise integrators on most effective system designs for Exotec products (answering to customer needs while optimizing integrator costs)
• Support integrators to understand functionalities, key differentiators, limitations of Exotec products and integration best practices
• Review and validate integrator design documents before final installation
• Contribute to training content creation and facilitate trainings for integrators
• Answer questions and provide support from integrator’s requests
• Own performance of Exotec systems, analyze root-cause of non-performance
• Coordinate with integrators to perform improvement actions
• Support in solving issues escalated from Exotec remote monitoring team and integrator
• Analyze root-cause of issues, suggest improvement plans and coordinates with Exotec teams to implement solutions to prevent issue to arise again
• Support integrators on their requests regarding Exotec services (e.g. systems in production, pre-production servers)
• Support integrators to keep their systems with latest updates

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in software engineering or mechatronics
• Fluent in English and Korean, Japanese is a plus
• Technical Skills (we know you may not have all of these, but if you feel like you respond to 70%, get in touch)
• Troubleshooting skills
•  Knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Experience or appreciation for Git, NodeRed, and Docker.
• Ability to read code in C++, C, Python, JS and/or Java
• You have strong analytical skills and enjoy interpreting data.
• You are customer service-oriented mindset.
• You like working and collaborating with others.
