JOB DESCRIPTION

Core Responsibilities :-

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable technical requirements
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, and process flows
• Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate meetings to gather insights and ensure alignment between business and technical teams
• Solution Design Support: Work with technical teams to evaluate solution options and ensure proposed designs meet business objectives
• API Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed API documentation to support integration and development efforts
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by creating test cases, coordinating testing activities, and validating that solutions meet requirements
• Data Analysis: Leverage SQL to extract, analyse, and interpret data to support decision-making and validate requirements
• Change Management: Assist in managing requirement changes and assessing their impact on project scope, timeline, and resources
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance project delivery

What We'reLooking For :-

• Technical Foundation: Strong foundational knowledge in Java (no need coding) and SQL
• API Expertise: Experience in utilizing and developing API documentation
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of work
• Analytical Thinking: Strong aptitude for grasping complex ideas and translating them into practical solutions
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, analyse root causes, and propose effective solutions

       Beneficial Skills :-

• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Scrum or other Agile frameworks
• API Testing: Hands-on experience with API testing tools and methodologies

      Qualifications:-

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in business analysis, technical analysis, or a related role

Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) in Information Science or Knowledge Management

The candidate would have experience in one or more of the following primary areas: Library science and technology; Data, text and social media analytics; Human-computer and AI interaction; Informetrics; Digital curation and preservation; Information organisation and management; and Human information behaviour. Having a secondary area of technical expertise in programming for analytics or artificial intelligence applications would be a plus, although not mandatory. The candidate is expected to possess a doctorate in an appropriate field from a reputable university.

NTU is investing in digital humanities, arts and social sciences. The selected candidate would contribute to this cross-disciplinary initiative.
