Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort are looking for a skilled and motivated Demi Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis.
This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen, assisting with food preparation, cooking, and presentation, while helping deliver a high-quality dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in line with menu standards and guest expectations.
- Assist in the development and plating of high-quality meals.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with food safety, hygiene, and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and smooth operations.
- Support and mentor junior kitchen staff where required.
- Contribute to menu planning, recipe development, and kitchen efficiency improvements.
Shift Details (subject to change):
- Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
- Shifts may include breakfast, lunch, and dinner services
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays
Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):
Monday - Friday: $29.88 per hour
Saturday: $37.35 per hour
Sunday: $44.82 per hour
