• Assist in preparing RFQ/RFI documents and sending them to suppliers during sourcing or tender exercises.

• Assist in the preparation, cutting, trimming, deboning, and portioning of meat, poultry, and seafood for hotel outlets (e.g., restaurants, banquets, room service)
• Prepare meats according to standard recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines set by the culinary team
• Ensure all meat products meet the hotel’s quality standards and guest expectations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the butchery section in compliance with hotel and food safety standards
• Properly label, store, and rotate stock using FIFO procedures
• Support daily kitchen operations, including mise en place for buffets, banquets, and à la carte service
• Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing deliveries to ensure freshness and quality
• Minimize wastage by proper trimming, portion control, and utilization of by-products
• Maintain and safely use knives, cutting equipment, and machinery
• Follow all HACCP, food hygiene, and workplace safety regulations
• Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service

Scope and Objectives 

This position is concerned with being responsible for serving food & beverage to the guest according to the service standards, policy, procedure & etiquette, in line with our motto.

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities

• Ensure correct grooming standards are followed at all times

• To be familiar with the beverage service including glasses used and appropriates garnishes
• Following up restaurants financial, LQA, TrustYou and Forbes targets on a daily basis

• Following up daily financial targets of area/division
• Use opening and closing checklist to ensure smooth opening and closing of the venue
• Ensure service stations are constantly cleared and re-stocked during service
• Serve and clear food and beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional manner

• Keep manager on duty updated of any guest feedback so they can update the Glitch Report

Purpose of role:

This role will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing marketing programmes in the Asia Pacific region, supporting the regional marketing manager in delivering relevant and timely marketing and communications activities.

Key activities:

•Support the development and execution of targeted, defined and measurable regional marketing plans

•Create regional content, including customer testimonials and case studies that support the regional marketing plan

•Ensure local compliance with brand guidelines; train regional teams and sites to ensure appropriate brand deployment

•Support country Agents and Distributors with Channel Marketing resources

•Support planning, execution and reporting of approved regional trade shows and other customer events, ensuring alignment with Global Marketing

Key accountabilities:

•In this position, you will collaborate with the Regional Marketing Manager APAC to customise, develop and execute John Crane’s marketing strategy for the region. You will be part of the global marketing team and have a direct reporting line to the Regional Marketing Manager APAC.

•You will act as the first point of contact for any marketing-related questions from the APAC sales team, providing marketing leadership for regional markets, including demand generation programmes, new product launches and vertical marketing, to drive market share growth.

•You will be required to work across Marketing Communications, Product Marketing, Vertical Marketing and Sales Enablement functions to ensure that top-down initiatives are deployed and that regional requirements resonate with global decision-makers.

•Collaboration examples may include: (a) Support the Global Marcomms team as needed on communication plans, inbound and outbound tactics, and localised content for global initiatives (b) Work with Vertical Business Directors to identify gaps in the John Crane portfolio in each regional market (c) Work with Marcomms and Product Marketing to develop required white papers, case studies and sales tools

•You will partner closely with regional sales leadership to deploy regional marketing plans and provide market intelligence from the regional perspective back to Global Marketing. You will drive global programmes into the assigned region and coordinate deployments across multiple Marketing functions.

•You will have the opportunity to locally execute marketing programmes, campaigns and brand building (including local content development) that are part of the global or regional business strategy in line with global brand guidelines. • Control access to the facility by verifying identification and issuing visitor badges in a professional and courteous manner
• Monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems, responding promptly and decisively to any alerts or security concerns
• Conduct regular and thorough security checks of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and other designated locations
