• Produce high quality plated both design and taste-wise

Role Overview

The Director is responsible for overseeing the overall strategic direction, governance, and performance of the company. The role ensures compliance with statutory requirements while driving business growth, operational excellence and stakeholder value.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

• Set and guide the company’s vision, mission, and long-term objectives

• Identify business opportunities, partnerships, and expansion plans

• Provide direction to senior management on business strategies

2. Corporate Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (e.g., ACRA, MOM, IRAS)

• Fulfil duties under the Companies Act as a company director

• Act in the best interest of the company and its shareholders

3. Financial Oversight

• Review and approve budgets, financial reports and investments

• Monitor company performance and profitability

• Ensure proper financial controls and reporting systems are in place

4. Operational Oversight

• Oversee key business operations and ensure efficiency across departments

• Support management in achieving operational targets

• Monitor risk management and internal control systems

5. Stakeholder Management

• Represent the company in dealings with investors, partners, regulators, and key clients

• Maintain strong relationships with shareholders and stakeholders

• Safeguard the company’s reputation and brand

6. Decision-Making

• Participate in board meetings and major business decisions

• Approve significant contracts, investments, and policies

• Provide guidance on high-level staffing and organisational structure

Requirements / Qualifications

• Proven leadership or management experience

• Strong understanding of business operations and financial management

The successful candidate will work in a business tax team, focusing predominantly on the provision of tax advisory services to clients in the Financial Services sector. Responsibilities will include assisting with tax research, assisting with the preparation of tax advice, preparation of proposals and presentations and liaising with other internal teams and Deloitte offices on tax matters. Experienced candidate will be involved in providing FATCA and CRS advisory and reporting services for a mixed portfolio of clients in Singapore and the region. The candidate would also be involved in developing new businesses with potential clients in their course of work.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related field, with a Professional Qualification as recognized by ISCA; An SCTP accreditation would be an added advantage.

· You should have minimum 8 years of business tax experience and proven track record in business development, preferably with an international accounting or legal firm;

· Strong written and verbal communication skills;

· Has an analytical mind and meticulous;

· Ability to work under tight deadlines; and

Experience with FATCA and CRS is preferred for experienced candidates.
