Job Scope

You will be responsible for end-to-end of the planning cycle including annual operating plan, rolling forecast, and long-range plan, managing timelines, templates, stakeholder coordination, and consolidation through to the final numbers presented to the CFO. You will own the integrity and architecture of the company's financial model across revenue, margins, operating costs, cash flow, and balance sheet, and take accountability for the KPI framework that tracks business performance, spots trends early, and translates them into actionable insights for leadership.

You will support in forecast, running quarterly business reviews, and pressure-testing investment cases with rigour. You will produce monthly management decks and board materials, and present directly to the CFO and senior executive team. The role also encompasses strategic analysis such as pricing studies, go to market models, and deep dives, as well as driving continuous improvement in the planning process and reporting infrastructure to build a scalable finance function.

Cash Management Operations Centre (CMOC) is part ofUOB’s Global Technology & Operations organization. CMOC handles a fullsuite of Cash Management products and services for the bank’s WholesaleCorporate and Retail Customers across diverse industries and business segments.

The Corporate eServices team supports the BusinessInternet Banking and other eServices Setup & Maintenance for UOBSingapore’s Corporatecustomers.        

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Plan, Review and Execute the business directions, goals and strategies of the team.
• Represent the team in meetings with Management and Business Partners.
• Supervise the team’s daily operations and meet set Goals.
• To build a High Performance and motivated team.
• Ensure products and services are delivered efficiently, with accuracy, timeliness and in accordance to SLAs/KPIs and approved Standard Operating Procedures set by management.
• Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures and Delegation Memos are reviewed and updated when required and at the minimum on an annual basis.
• Ensure that all Laws and Regulations, Bank’s policies, guidelines, controls and compliance requirements are up-to-date and strictly adhered to.
• Maintain a high standard of operations control and compliance to protect the Bank’s and Customer’s interests.
• Ensure that escalations are raised to the appropriate management levels on a timely basis, where required.
• To plan/manage audits and to interface auditors.
• Ensure that any areas of non-compliance or improvements highlighted by the Auditors, Compliance, Risks Management and Regulators are followed up promptly and resolved quickly and all staff are briefed accordingly to prevent recurrence.
• Investigate any discrepancies, exceptions and non-compliance, and raise to the Risks & Control Lead and Division Head promptly of any unusual or exceptional activities.
• Manage the Key Risk Indicators in the team.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and service quality.
• To pursue Process Improvements, automation, STP (Straight Thru Processing), digitalisation to deliver on the results and to have productivity and efficiency realized.
• Inculcate an operations and service excellence culture in the Department.
• Ensure that high level of professional telephone standard is maintained at all times in the team.
• Ensure that customers’ operational problems, complaints and queries are resolved promptly and satisfactorily and to ensure that risks of recurrences are eliminated.
• Ensure that the Bank’s human resource policies are adhered to.
• Review the annual manpower establishment for the team.
• Ensure that the team is adequately manned and staff are optimally deployed.
• Encourage a conducive and professional working relationship within the team.
• Analyse staff capabilities to identify skills gaps, arrange for coaching/training as part of staff development and provide guidance to staff in their job performance on a regular basis, when required.
• Track key performance indicators and monitor staff performance against the key performance indicators.
• Review and appraise performance of staff.
• Plan career development for staff.
• Lead and participate in Projects or other Initiatives as required internally or with business stakeholders.
• Monitor project milestones to ensure that key deliverables meet project and objectives and timelines.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• A degree holder in a relevant discipline 
• At least 10 years’ experience in wholesale banking operations including Wholesale Customer Internet banking and other eServices setup and maintenance, with a good broad-based knowledge and understanding of wholesale banking products, processes and its related risks and controls. 
• Strong leadership. people management and interpersonal skills.
• Able to coach/develop, motivate teams to achieve stretched goals.
• Able to work effectively with all levels of staff and stakeholders.
• Committed, Dependable and demonstrate high integrity.

Department Overview

The Sales department is responsible for the strategic planning of overall business growth identifying opportunities with new Companies and Clients for all Monex currency products (FX Spot, Forwards, Options) as well as maintaining relationships with existing Companies and Clients, increasing their business revenue and cross-collaborating with the Introducing Brokers (IB) department wherever possible.

Job Overview

FX Sales is responsible for the management of the Sales relationships with existing client accounts as well as prospecting new Clients and Accounts. They serve as the interface between Clients and the Dealing Team and work closely with Compliance and Risk to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines.

The role holder requires knowledge of all MonFX’s products and the regulatory framework under which they must operates to successfully market these products to new and existing Clients, putting the Clients’ long-term interests first with fair and equitable outcomes for both the role holder and the firm.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Sales Responsibilities (mainly Singapore and Asia Pacific)

• Drive new business by pitching and closing deals with prospective clients via phone and face-to-face meetings
• Build and manage your own pipeline while consistently delivering against revenue targets
• Manage client relationships through onboarding and first trades, ensuring a seamless experience
• Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline tracking using CRM systems
• Monitor sales performance and adapt strategies to maximise results
• Provide market feedback and insights to senior leadership to support product and revenue growth
• Conduct thorough needs analysis to deliver tailored FX solutions to clients
• Ensure all clients are properly vetted and meet regulatory and compliance standards

Operational & Compliance Responsibilities

• Adhere to all internal sales processes, remuneration policies, and risk management frameworks
• Ensure compliance with key regulatory policies including Treating Customers Fairly (TCF), pricing, and conduct standards
• Identify and escalate any conduct or compliance risks appropriately

Risk, Technology & Data

• Participate in regular sales audits and risk assessments
• Ensure all client data is handled in compliance with PDPA, GDPR and internal data protection policies

What are we looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
• Experience working within a regulated financial institution is highly desirable
• Proven track record of operating within a commercial sales environment
• Ability to clearly articulate full understanding of end-to-end sales processes
• Strong sales techniques (Negotiation, influencing and closing skills)
• Good knowledge of FX products is a plus
• Excellent all-round communication skills, strong judgement and problem-solving skills
• Results driven, self-motivated and takes initiative
• Experience using CRM systems and sales tools

• Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within financial services or FX
