About the job

This is a full time permanent position, reporting directly to the senior Group Finance Manager of the group in Malaysia. The role will be to assist the senior Finance Manager in the management of day-to-day operations of the Finance department.

The primary role is to manage the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions of the company and several subsidiary companies within the group. The incumbent will be responsible to manage and lead the Accounting team to produce accurate financial and management reports. The incumbent will lead the month end process from beginning to end.

Key responsibilities:

*Produce monthly reports for different operation teams.

*Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce monthly monthly financial reports.

*Preparing management reports for the companies and its subsidiaries.

*Take the lead role in the annual budgeting and forecasting process.

The candidate

To be considered for this senior accounting & finance role, candidate should possess professional qualification ACCA or Bachelor degree. Preference for candidates who are in age group 30-40 with at least 5-8 years of overall accounting experience.

Ideally candidate with prior experience in PLC set up will be an asset. However, candidates with solid accounting/finance experience in other industries will be duly considered.

Good command of spoken and written English is required with good writing skills.

Purpose of the role

The Campaign Manager works with both their clients and their team to ensure the efficient and effective running of their accounts. Main Responsibilities:

• To ensure that the project is delivered on time and on budget according to the company's project management requirements
• Assist to manage the scope, progress, cost and risk control etc. during the project implementation, as well as the timely handling of major issues, so as to achieve timely project delivery based on budget and with quality.

Requirements :

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Shipbuilding/Marine Engineering or its equivalent discipline
• Minimum 5 years of working experiences in shipbuilding, marine engineering or project management experiences
• Required to liaise regularly with our HQ and/counterparts in China
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, planning execution ability, judgment and decision-making ability and organizational management ability
• Good teamwork with sense of responsibility and strong ability to withstand pressure

What You’ll Do

AI-driven product enablement
Leverage AI tools to create and maintain a scalable suite of product documentation and assets. This includes API guides, technical one-pagers, onboarding materials, and internal knowledge content that stays aligned with ongoing product updates.

B2B product delivery & coordination
Track delivery of customer-driven requirements, monitor milestones, and work closely with cross-functional teams to identify risks, resolve blockers, and ensure timely execution of product commitments.

Partner onboarding & technical enablement
Support structured onboarding for enterprise partners by managing data collection workflows, enabling secure data exchange processes, and producing clear technical documentation to support integration and implementation.

Partner feedback synthesis
Gather and organize feedback from external stakeholders, translate unstructured inputs into actionable insights, and surface key themes to inform product prioritization and roadmap decisions.

Release & go-to-market support
Assist in the execution of product launches by preparing supporting materials, updating documentation repositories, and equipping internal teams with clear and accurate product messaging.

What We’re Looking For (Must Have)

• 1–3 years of experience in Product Management, Solutions Architecture, Product Operations, or Business Analysis
• Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with AI tools and applications
• Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
• Proven ability to work effectively across multiple teams and functions

Good to Have

• Understanding of API concepts (REST, JSON) and ability to interpret or draft API documentation
• Experience in B2B or partner-facing roles, especially onboarding or implementation work
• Awareness of data privacy and secure data-sharing practices
• Ability to analyze customer feedback and translate it into product recommendations
• Basic data analysis skills using Excel, Google Sheets, or dashboard tools

Job Overview:

The Mutual Fund Product Manager will manage and enhance the bank’s fund platform for Private Wealth clients. This includes fund selection, due diligence, market insights, and model portfolio support for Relationship Managers and Investment Consultants. The role also involves collaboration with regional teams and external fund managers to deliver high-quality investment solutions and strengthen the bank’s wealth management offerings in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

1. Fund Selection & Due Diligence

• Evaluate and approve new traditional and alternative funds (e.g., equity, fixed income, multi-asset, hedge funds, private markets).
• Perform qualitative and quantitative due diligence to assess managers, strategies, performance, risks, and suitability.
• Maintain oversight of existing funds through periodic reviews.

2. Daily Management of Fund Platform

• Monitor fund performance, risks, AUM shifts, fee changes, portfolio manager changes, etc.
• Keep fund documentation updated and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Identify underperforming or misaligned funds for potential removal or replacement.

3. Advisory Support to RMs and ICs

• Provide investment insights, fund recommendations, market intelligence, and product positioning to sales teams.
• Help RMs prepare for client meetings with fund-specific angles and talking points.
• Curate and maintain model portfolios to guide client allocations.

4. Product Training & Communication

• Conduct training sessions and workshops for RMs/ICs on new funds, asset classes, or market outlook updates.
• Prepare product notes, fund commentaries, market briefings, and FAQ documents.
• Present in client seminars or marketing events for Wealth Management high-net-worth clients.

5. Collaboration with External Asset Managers

• Work closely with global/regional fund houses (BlackRock, Fidelity, PIMCO, etc.).
• Coordinate product presentations, fund launches, and due diligence meetings.
• Align on materials, product marketing, and investment insights.

6. Regional Role Involvement

• Support regional initiatives across Taiwan/Greater China.
• Participate in cross-border fund projects, platform enhancements, and regulatory alignment.

Requirements:

1. Academic & Technical Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Strong grounding in investment concepts, portfolio analysis, and fund structures.

2. Experience

• 5–7 years in:
  • Mutual fund product management
  • Fund selection & due diligence
  • Wealth management or private banking environment

3. Product Knowledge

• Strong understanding of:
  • Traditional funds: equity, fixed income, mixed assets
  • Alternative funds: hedge funds, private market vehicles
• Ability to assess fund mandate, investment process, risk metrics, and suitability.

4. Communication & Presentation Skills

• Experience conducting:
  • RM/IC product training
  • Client seminars for high-net-worth individuals

• Review existing policies, cost/benefit analysis on Compensation & Benefits (C&B) structure and processes.

• Design, develop and implement C&B programmes through strong engagement of key stakeholders.

• Management of claims with insurer / broker such as medical, insurance and WICA claims

• Engage with Union on CA renewal (every 3 years)

• Responsible for performance appraisal process, and data cleansing with BSC before rollout.

• Data management with BSC for any position changes, promotion (including Color Belting for Technicians), transfers etc.

• Management of incentive schemes for payment with BSC e.g. Technical Retention Program, Port Incentive, Sales Incentive Scheme

• Perform annual salary benchmarking with Mercer

• Responsible for salary proposal of new joiners

• Responsible for salary budget exercise for C&B topics

• Handle tax clearance/settlement for local and expat employees with tax consultant

• Lead internal and external audits on C&B-statutory survey and MOM Labor market survey.
