Ringkasan Kerja

Juruteknik Penyelenggaraan / Instrumen / atau Penolong Jurutera bertanggungjawab untuk memastikan operasi semua sistem kemudahan dan peralatan pengeluaran yang cekap, selamat dan andal, termasuk HVAC (sistem penyejuk), infrastruktur elektrik, mekanikal dan paip. Peranan ini menyokong operasi pembuatan berterusan dengan melakukan penyelenggaraan pencegahan, menyelesaikan masalah kerosakan dan menyelaras aktiviti pembaikan untuk meminimumkan masa henti dan memastikan pematuhan dengan piawaian keselamatan dan kawal selia.

Tanggungjawab Utama

1. Penyelenggaraan & Pembaikan

• Melakukan penyelenggaraan pencegahan (PM) berjadual dan pembaikan pembetulan pada sistem HVAC (termasuk sistem penyejuk), sistem elektrik (termasuk 3 fasa) dan peralatan mekanikal.
• Memastikan semua peralatan beroperasi pada prestasi optimum bagi menyokong proses pembuatan yang tidak terganggu.

2. Penyelesaian Masalah & Tindak Balas Kerosakan

• Mendiagnosis, menyelesaikan masalah, dan membetulkan kerosakan peralatan dan sistem dengan cara yang tepat pada masanya dan cekap.
• Melaksanakan tindakan pembetulan yang berkesan untuk meminimumkan masa henti pengeluaran dan mencegah berulangnya.

3. Pemantauan & Pemeriksaan

• Menjalankan pemeriksaan rutin dan tinjauan kemudahan untuk mengenal pasti keabnormalan seperti bunyi bising, getaran, haba atau kebocoran yang luar biasa.
• Pantau prestasi peralatan dan rekodkan data operasi yang berkaitan untuk analisis dan penambahbaikan.

4. Penyelarasan Kontraktor & Vendor

• Menyelia dan menyelaras kontraktor luaran untuk kerja-kerja penyelenggaraan, pembaikan, penentukuran dan penambahbaikan kemudahan khusus.
• Memastikan semua aktiviti kontraktor mematuhi piawaian keselamatan dan operasi syarikat.

5. Keselamatan & Pematuhan

• Mematuhi dan menguatkuasakan semua prosedur kesihatan, keselamatan dan alam sekitar, termasuk Sekatan Keluar Masuk (LOTO).
• Pastikan semua aktiviti penyelenggaraan mematuhi dasar dalaman dan keperluan kawal selia (contohnya, GMP jika berkenaan).

6. Dokumentasi & Pelaporan

• Mengekalkan rekod, log dan senarai semak penyelenggaraan yang tepat dan terkini.
• Mengurus inventori alat ganti dan memastikan pengisian semula komponen kritikal tepat pada masanya.
• Menyediakan laporan mengenai aktiviti penyelenggaraan, kerosakan dan inisiatif penambahbaikan.

7. Penambahbaikan Berterusan

• Menyokong inisiatif untuk meningkatkan kebolehpercayaan, kecekapan dan amalan penyelenggaraan peralatan.
• Memberikan input tentang penambahbaikan proses, penaiktarafan peralatan dan langkah penjimatan kos.

8. Tanggungjawab Ad-hoc

Pendidikan

Job Summary

The Maintenance / Instrument Technician / or Assistant Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and reliable operation of all facility and production equipment systems, including HVAC (chiller systems), electrical, mechanical, and plumbing infrastructure. This role supports continuous manufacturing operations by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and coordinating repair activities to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintenance & Repair

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective repairs on HVAC systems (including chiller systems), electrical systems (including 3-phase), and mechanical equipment.
• Ensure all equipment operates at optimal performance to support uninterrupted manufacturing processes.

2. Troubleshooting & Breakdown Response

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and rectify equipment faults and system breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
• Implement effective corrective actions to minimize production downtime and prevent recurrence.

3. Monitoring & Inspection

• Conduct routine inspections and facility walkthroughs to identify abnormalities such as unusual noise, vibration, heat, or leaks.
• Monitor equipment performance and record relevant operational data for analysis and improvement.

4. Contractor & Vendor Coordination

• Supervise and coordinate external contractors for specialized maintenance, repairs, calibration, and facility improvement works.
• Ensure all contractor activities comply with company safety and operational standards.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to and enforce all health, safety, and environmental procedures, including Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO).
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP where applicable).

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records, logs, and checklists.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely replenishment of critical components.
• Prepare reports on maintenance activities, breakdowns, and improvement initiatives.

7. Continuous Improvement

• Support initiatives to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and maintenance practices.
• Provide input on process improvements, equipment upgrades, and cost-saving measures.

8. Ad-hoc Responsibilities

• Perform any other duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management from time to time, in line with operational requirements.

Job Requirements

Education

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in facility or equipment maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC (chiller systems), electrical (3-phase), and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving under time-sensitive conditions.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Position Summary

Responsible for the selection, qualification, application, failure analysis and documentation management of components, materials and chemicals together with their supplier evaluation.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Classify, characterize, and manage company-used electronic components, parts, materials, and chemicals as part of an integrated material library.
• Develop component and material selection, qualification, and application guidelines; standardize test methods; and design test plates for common screening and qualification activities.
• Provide technical support on material and component related topics, including datasheet interpretation, alternate part recommendations, application guidance, failure analysis, storage, and handling requirements.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and alternative component sourcing, and address engineering queries (EQ) from suppliers to ensure quality, performance and compliance requirements are met.

What you will do
