The Team

Valuation Team at Pacific Life Re is responsible for the actuarialvaluation of our diverse lines of business and global markets. The team will runand validate our global Tyche models to deliver insights across PL Re. The Role

We are looking for someone passionate about minimizing risk while enabling our Greater China users, conducting in-depth risk investigations across fraud, policy, and compliance, and who has a strong desire to work collaboratively with stakeholders while building and scaling risk investigations and support for Greater China.  This position works closely with cross-functional stakeholders across go to market, operations, risk, and product to mitigate financial and ecosystem risk while enabling our users. 

The right candidate for this role will have a minimum of four years experience conducting complex risk investigations and building & scaling risk processes in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment, preferably within ecommerce or payments. Candidates should also have experience working closely with cross functional stakeholders to drive investigative and operational process improvements, conduct root cause analysis, and be fluent in written and spoken Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Conduct unified risk reviews for Greater China users at onboarding; investigating and identifying fraud, compliance, and policy risks.
  
• Work directly with users and go to market to build context into business models, validate documentation, and assess supportability.
  
• Conduct periodic investigations on high risk accounts to identify and mitigate fraudulent or other high risk behaviors.
  
• Identify gaps in current systems, policies and strategies, and recommend enhancements and process improvements to mitigate emerging risks and build for scale through a collaborative approach with stakeholders.
  
• Lead cross functional projects to improve operational processes and tools to enhance detection and actioning of high risk users.
  
• Investigate, mitigate, and remediate incidents related to fraud, compliance, or supportability risks.

Minimum requirements

• At least 4 years of experience conducting complex risk investigations.
  
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in leading risk-related projects or initiatives, while effectively collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Professional fluency in both written and verbal Mandarin communication, as this role is responsible for conducting onboarding, as well as periodic risk reviews and investigations related to fraud, supportability, and compliance requirements for Stripe’s Greater China users.
  

Preferred qualifications

• In depth experience conducting risk assessments focused on either fraud, compliance, and supportability.
  
• Risk experience focused on APAC and Greater China, preferably in payments, e-commerce, or fintech.
  
• Experience working directly with users to fulfill document requests, onboarding, and risk requirements.
  
• Experience designing fraud/risk workflows, analyst tooling, and processes/procedural workflows.
  
• Strong proficiency using SQL to analyze data, drive insights, and create dashboards and visualizations

- Lead-up x-functional team, plan & drive execution of all supply Chain initiatives which includes    lead time reductions, Payment terms/Delivery terms improvement, contractual, agreement on SMI/VMI/JIT

- Manage Cost Saving /re-design Initiatives (Lead, by accounts), take lead to drive on cost   savings initiatives, alternate sourcing, VAVE, price benchmark

- Interface with customer on project milestone, Supply Chain initiatives

- Manage ECN implementation, tracking & execution

Requirements

-Diploma in Engineering/Business Administration, having Engineering educations background will be an added advantages 

-Min 8-10 years of relevant work experience in Supply Chain/Procurement

-Good communication and interpersonal skills

-Having experience working in EMS & able to start work within short notice period will be an added advantag

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within Retail Banking or Financial Services.

• Strong experience in Payments, Transaction Banking, or Operational Processing platforms.
• Exposure to SWIFT messaging, payment processing, reconciliation, and settlement workflows.
• Experience in Retail Banking Loans and Lending products is good to have
• Proven expertise in requirements elicitation, business process mapping and gap analysis
• Experience supporting system migration, platform modernization, or workflow automation projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with SIT, UAT coordination, defect tracking, and release management.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.

The primary role of the Tax and Finance Analyst is to ensure the company tax and financial accounting and reporting are compliance with the local financial reporting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• To ensure quality and integrity of the financial statements in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standard) under the Advantest Group reporting and the local statutory reporting requirement.
• To prepare and file local financial statements, tax returns and other local statutory reports on a timely basis.
• To prepare regional budget on semi-annually, keep track the monthly actual vs budget and analyse the variance.
• To prepare analysis of tax related matter and support tax audits.
• To prepare financial analysis and support local statutory audits.
• To perform monthly account reconciliation
• To enhance the company tax compliance by providing training, advice, and identifying and implementing process improvement.
• Manage communication related to tax risks on business transactions and collaborate with internal teams to assist business transactions and provide assistant to global accounting team.
• Manage regional GL support activities.
• Participate in other projects and complete ad-hoc assignments as assigned.
