About the Role 

The Senior Recruiter will manage end-to-end recruitment for both R&D and non-R&D positions, partnering closely with hiring managers, business leaders, and HR stakeholders. The role requires strong sourcing capability, excellent stakeholder management, structured interviewing skills, and the ability to support fast-paced hiring in an international environment.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Act as a trusted recruiting partner for hiring managers, business leaders, and key stakeholders in Singapore and internationally. 

• Deeply understand business priorities, hiring plans, and role requirements, and translate them into effective recruiting strategies. 

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for R&D and technical roles, including Software Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, Data Scientists, Quantum-related roles, Research Scientists, Product Managers, Product Designers, QA Engineers, and other technology positions. 

• Manage recruitment for non-R&D roles, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations, Administration, and other business functions. 

• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for critical and niche roles in Singapore and the wider APAC market. 

• Use a variety of sourcing channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional communities, referrals, networking, academic/research networks, and direct outreach. 

• Conduct structured competency-based and behavioural interviews using the STAR method to assess skills, motivation, culture fit, and long-term potential. 

• Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. 

• Partner with hiring managers to calibrate role requirements, define selection criteria, provide market insights, and support hiring decisions. 

• Collect, analyse, and improve recruiting metrics, including pipeline conversion, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, offer acceptance rate, and hiring funnel quality. 

• Support offer preparation and negotiation in cooperation with HR, Finance, and hiring stakeholders. 

• Monitor recruitment-related costs and ensure efficient use of sourcing channels, job boards, agencies, and other hiring resources. 

• Contribute to employer branding initiatives in Singapore and APAC, helping position Constructor Group as an attractive employer in AI, quantum, deep tech, research, and education. 

• Participate in additional HR and Talent Acquisition projects, such as referral programs, recruitment process improvement, internal communications, and talent market mapping. 

• Support the development of scalable recruitment practices for Constructor Group’s growing Singapore hub. 

Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of proven in-house recruitment experience, preferably in fast-growing, international, technology, deep-tech, R&D, or education-related organisations. 

• Strong experience hiring for both technical/R&D and non-technical roles. 

• Experience with international hiring and talent markets; experience in Singapore and/or APAC is a strong advantage. 

• Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates for complex and niche roles. 

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work confidently with hiring managers and senior leaders. 

• Ability to manage multiple roles and stakeholders in parallel while maintaining quality and speed. 

• Experience conducting structured competency-based and behavioural interviews using the STAR method. 

• Strong understanding of recruiting metrics and ability to use data to improve hiring outcomes. 

• Confident Excel or Google Sheets skills for recruitment analytics, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF, COUNTIF, and Pivot Tables.

• Build and own Sleek's social performance reporting, not just pulling numbers but defining which metrics matter for organic growth.

• Track platform behaviour across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging channels — algorithm shifts, format changes, and what is gaining traction and why.

• Proven ability to own a social media function independently, not just execute briefs. Track record in the professional management of business-facing (B2B or B2C) social media accounts across core platforms, specifically LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

To Qualify for the role, you must have

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the life actuarial team or an actuarial consulting firm.
• Newly or Nearly qualified with either the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK), the Society of Actuaries (US) or the Institute of Actuaries of Australia
• Good knowledge of Prophet software
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Ideally, you’ll also have

Depth of experience in at least one of the following areas:

- financial modeling

- financial and regulatory reporting

- product and distribution strategy

- ERM / Solvency II

- M&A due diligence

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Actuarial Manager to join our Central Life Reserving (CLR) team. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across multiple business units in Asia, MENA, South Africa, and Australia, supporting the consolidation and enhancement of regional reporting and analysis processes.

Your Role                                          

Reporting and Analysis:

• Lead the integration of South Africa’s reporting processes into the regional framework, identifying and implementing efficiencies.
• Take point on South Africa Group Reporting effective 2027.
• Assess and enhance regional reporting processes to meet the evolving needs of local offices.
• Support the development and implementation of standardized procedures for timely and effective result analysis.
• Conduct in-depth analysis and provide actionable insights into key drivers of financial results.
• Support Annual Planning and Delivery across Asia Pacific & Africa.

Review and Support:

• Be the first line reviewer of Munich Re’s South Africa business.
• Lead the Group Reporting for Japan, Korea, Retakaful and Middle East business, supporting the Regional Head of Reporting and the Regional Chief Actuary with the quarterly and annual reserving and quality assurance.
• Support the review of other business units across Asia Pacific.

Technical Expertise:

• Serve as the technical expert on the systems and tools within the job function.
• Implement a treaty-level IFRS17 analysis tool across LH2.
• Support the enhancement of the prognosis process across Singapore branch.

Your Profile

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant actuarial experience, with strong progress in actuarial examinations.
• Solid understanding of IFRS 17 and Solvency II reporting frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
• Proven ability to manage and resolve conflicts constructively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with programming languages such as VBA, R, Python, or SQL is highly desirable.
