The Institute of Sustainability for Chemicals, Energy and Environment (ISCE2) was established by A*STAR in 2022 to support Singapore's decarbonisation and sustainability goals, through strong international partnerships with industry, public agencies, and academia. ISCE2 is located at Jurong Island.

The Senior Manager / Assistant Director / Senior Assistant Director (Technology‑Business Development – Low‑Carbon Hydrogen) will manage industry R&D collaborations and translation activities across hydrogen and hydrogen‑derived value chains (e.g. production, storage, carriers such asammonia, cracking, utilisation and systems integration). In addition to driving execution, the role contributes to A*STAR’s technical and strategic positioning in low‑carbon hydrogen by shaping translation roadmaps, articulating evidence‑based perspectives to industry and public agencies, and influencing ecosystem‑level directions across hydrogen and hydrogen‑derived value chains.

The role supports the end‑to‑end technology‑business lifecycle, from early project scoping and IP strategy through to commercialization, licensing, and scale‑up, strengthening Singapore’s National Decarbonization Grand Challenge. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow industry partnerships and collaborative R&D portfolios in low‑carbon hydrogen, delivering against key performance indicators for industry engagement, investment, and translation outcomes. Proactively scope, support, and manage projects across the innovation and translation pipeline, including securing industry contracts, research collaboration agreements, and public‑private partnerships.
• Assess, prioritise, and develop strategies to commercialise A*STAR intellectual property and platform capabilities related to hydrogen systems and technologies. Job Requirements

Due to ongoing expansion, they are seeking an Assistant Business Development / Sales Manager to support strategic growth initiatives. They are located in the (Central) – easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Track and evaluate emerging project leads through industry monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and market intelligence, progressing opportunities from initial identification through to tender and award stages.

• Maintain ongoing engagement with clients, consultants, and industry partners to surface and develop potential pipelines.

• Conduct structured analysis on sector trends, competitor movements, and project forecasts; consolidate findings for management reporting.

• Prepare internal documentation including approval papers, periodic updates, and business reporting submissions.

• Oversee departmental workflows, including assigning, reviewing, and tracking deliverables to ensure adherence to timelines.

• Coordinate tender-related activities across internal teams, ensuring completeness, compliance, and submission readiness.

• Organise technical discussions, risk reviews, and value optimisation sessions during pre-contract phases.

• Support development of tender proposals, presentation materials, and interview decks for project pursuits.

• Liaise with consultants and stakeholders for design-and-build submissions and technical clarifications.

• Plan and execute business-related initiatives, including corporate events and outreach programmes, aligned with annual objectives.

• Drive implementation of marketing-related efforts including publications and campaign materials in coordination with internal teams.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience within the built environment sector, including exposure to consultancy environments.

• Prior experience in quantity surveying consultancy will be advantageous.

• Familiarity with REDAS Design and Build Conditions of Contract (Singapore context).

• Working knowledge of BIM processes and regulatory frameworks governed by Singapore authorities (e.g. BCA and related agencies).

• Experience in coordinating across multiple stakeholders within project or tender environments.

About the role

We are looking for a Head of Science (Primary) to build and subsequently lead a high-quality P3 to P6 Science programme.

This role goes beyond teaching. You will shape the programme structure, strengthen curriculum and delivery, and later on, build teaching capability to ensure consistent student outcomes across centres.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and refine the P3–P6 science curriculum, ensuring alignment with MOE syllabus and PSLE requirements
• Develop structured teaching approaches to ensure consistent lesson delivery
• Monitor student progress and continuously improve programme outcomes
• Engage parents through clear communication on student development
• Support trial classes and contribute to enrolment growth
• Teach 4–6 classes per week, including at least 1 weekend, with teaching load adjusted as the teaching team expands
• Hire and train teachers to deliver high-quality lessons

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Science or related field (MOE/NIE-trained preferred)
• Minimum 5–8 years of teaching experience in primary science
• Clear and structured teaching style with strong concept explanation
• Strong track record of helping students improve and perform
• Experience in curriculum development, mentoring, or academic leadership is advantageous
• Someone who has taken initiative to improve teaching practices, curriculum, or student outcomes beyond their own classroom
• Comfortable operating in a programme-building environment and taking ownership
