About the Role 

The Senior Recruiter will manage end-to-end recruitment for both R&D and non-R&D positions, partnering closely with hiring managers, business leaders, and HR stakeholders. Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Act as a trusted recruiting partner for hiring managers, business leaders, and key stakeholders in Singapore and internationally. 

• Deeply understand business priorities, hiring plans, and role requirements, and translate them into effective recruiting strategies. 

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for R&D and technical roles, including Software Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, Data Scientists, Quantum-related roles, Research Scientists, Product Managers, Product Designers, QA Engineers, and other technology positions. 

• Manage recruitment for non-R&D roles, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations, Administration, and other business functions. 

• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for critical and niche roles in Singapore and the wider APAC market. 

• Use a variety of sourcing channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional communities, referrals, networking, academic/research networks, and direct outreach. 

• Conduct structured competency-based and behavioural interviews using the STAR method to assess skills, motivation, culture fit, and long-term potential. 

• Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. 

• Partner with hiring managers to calibrate role requirements, define selection criteria, provide market insights, and support hiring decisions. 

• Collect, analyse, and improve recruiting metrics, including pipeline conversion, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, offer acceptance rate, and hiring funnel quality. 

• Support offer preparation and negotiation in cooperation with HR, Finance, and hiring stakeholders. 

• Monitor recruitment-related costs and ensure efficient use of sourcing channels, job boards, agencies, and other hiring resources. 

• Contribute to employer branding initiatives in Singapore and APAC, helping position Constructor Group as an attractive employer in AI, quantum, deep tech, research, and education. 

• Participate in additional HR and Talent Acquisition projects, such as referral programs, recruitment process improvement, internal communications, and talent market mapping.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of proven in-house recruitment experience, preferably in fast-growing, international, technology, deep-tech, R&D, or education-related organisations. 

• Strong experience hiring for both technical/R&D and non-technical roles. 

• Experience with international hiring and talent markets; experience in Singapore and/or APAC is a strong advantage. 

• Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates for complex and niche roles. 

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work confidently with hiring managers and senior leaders. 

• Ability to manage multiple roles and stakeholders in parallel while maintaining quality and speed. 

• Experience conducting structured competency-based and behavioural interviews using the STAR method.

Our work challenges flawed practices in private asset investing anddevelops more scientific, transparent and robust approaches to valuation, risk measurement, performance attribution and alpha measurement. Current research priorities include private asset valuation accuracy, fair value practices,private equity volatility, private debt risk, factor models for infrastructure and private equity and alpha measurement.

We are looking to recruit Senior Research Engineers to strengthen our research capacity and turn ambitious private-assets research ideas into rigorous empirical outputs,working papers, academic journal submissions and practitioner-facing publications.

The role

The Senior Research Engineer will work at the intersection of private assets, empirical finance, quantitative methods, data engineering and academic research.

The successful candidate will build and analyse data sets across private equity, infrastructure, private debt and related alternative asset classes. They will take ownership of empirical work on topics such as valuation accuracy, private asset volatility,performance attribution, factor exposures, GP behaviour, private-market alpha and risk estimation.

Key responsibilities

The Senior Research Engineer will:

• Work with EIPA researchers to design, implement and test empirical research methods in private assets.
• Build and maintain research datasets using sources such as company accounts, transaction databases, regulatory filings, fund disclosures, valuation records and commercial private-market databases.
• Lead and execute empirical analysis for working papers, policy papers, insight papers and academic journal submissions.
• Translate research questions into robust empirical designs, including regression analysis, panel data methods, difference-in-differences, factor models, event studies, network analysis and other quantitative techniques.
• Develop research on private asset valuation accuracy, fair value practices, volatility estimation, alpha measurement, private equity value creation, private debt risk and infrastructure expected returns.
• Develop reproducible research code, data pipelines and documentation that allow results to be audited, replicated and extended.
• Prepare publication-quality tables, figures, robustness checks and methodological appendices for academic papers.
• Identify data limitations, measurement problems and methodological weaknesses in existing private-market research.
• Draft sections of research papers, especially methodology, data, empirical results and robustness sections.
• Drive publication efforts in academic and practitioner outlets, including responding to referee comments and revising empirical analysis where required.

The role will advance EIPA’s research pipeline across three broad areas.

Valuation and transparency

This includes work on the accuracy of private asset valuations, fair value practices, ASC 820 / IFRS 13 Level 3 disclosures, valuation policy,valuation back testing, listed private equity fund holdings, BDC mark accuracy and the incorporation of climate risks into infrastructure valuations.

Risk measurement

This includes work on private asset volatility, private debt spreads, BDC loan concentration, network analysis of private asset markets, total portfolio risk management and improved estimation of systematic risk ininfrastructure and private equity.

Alpha and performance measurement

This includes research on private-market alpha, return attribution,secondary buyouts, GP de-risking and factor timing, private equity value creation, mimicking finance for private assets and the construction of large-scale private equity datasets.

Required experience

Candidates should have:

• Strong exposure to private assets, alternative investments or institutional investment research.
• Strong ability to work with researchers and quantitative methods.
• Demonstrated experience conducting empirical research, ideally in finance, economics, accounting, investment management or a related field.
• The ability to produce research that can be submitted to academic journals, including familiarity with empirical research standards, robustness testing, literature positioning and academic writing.
• Advanced programming ability, preferably in Python and/or R.
• Strong data skills, including experience with messy, incomplete and multi-source datasets.

Candidate profile

We are looking for someone who is intellectually rigorous, empirically minded and comfortable working on difficult private-market problems where the data are imperfect and the methodology matters.

The ideal candidate will be able to move between code, data, financial theory and research writing. They should be comfortable asking whether a resultis economically meaningful, whether a model is correctly specified, whether a dataset is biased, and whether the evidence is strong enough for publication.

This role would suit a research engineer, empirical finance researcher,quantitative analyst, data scientist or applied economist who wants to work on high-impact private-assets research with both academic and industry relevance.

【The Role】

We are looking for a Senior Research Scientist with strong experience in large-scale recommendation systems to help build the next-generation social media platform.

You will own critical components of our recommendation stack — including recall, ranking, CTR modeling, and multi-objective optimization — with the goal of driving retention, engagement, and long-term ecosystem growth.

【A Day in the Life】

• Design and deploy scalable recommendation pipelines 
• Develop and optimize CTR/CVR prediction models
• Improve multi-objective ranking strategies (retention, monetization, diversity, long-term value)
• Tackle cold-start challenges for new users and new content
• Run offline experiments and online A/B testing to drive measurable gains
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and monetization teams
• Continuously iterate on model performance, latency, and system reliability

• Proficient in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.)

The Role

You will lead research and experimentation into what drives visibility in AI-powered search engines such as Perplexity, ChatGPT, and Gemini. This is a senior hands-on research and engineering role — you will architect experiments, build and own models, mentor junior researchers, and see your work directly shape product strategy.

What You Will Do:

• Design, lead, and oversee experiments to identify and validate GEO ranking factors
• Architect and own the development of algorithms and scoring models end-to-end
• Drive large-scale data analysis to extract actionable insights and translate findings into strategic recommendations
• Collaborate closely with the founding team to define the research roadmap and translate research into product features
• Mentor and guide junior researchers and engineers on experimental design and best practices

What We're Looking For

Must-have

• PhD with 2+ years of industry experience, or Master's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience
• Deep expertise in machine learning, NLP, or information retrieval
• Proven track record of designing, executing, and shipping research-driven products or features
• Strong leadership and communication skills — able to influence without authority and present findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Self-directed and comfortable operating with ambiguity at the frontier of a new field

Nice to have

• Strong familiarity with how LLMs process, rank, and retrieve information
• Hands-on experience leading search, ranking, or recommendation systems in production
• Prior work in SEO, content analytics, or search quality evaluation
• Experience building or contributing to research teams from an early stage
