M&E Supervisor – Duties and Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision

• Supervise daily M&E installation works on site.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Monitor subcontractors and workers' performance.

2. Work Coordination

• Coordinate M&E activities with main contractors, consultants, and other trades (architectural, structural, civil works).
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical or coordination issues.

3. Quality Control

• Inspect installations to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct quality checks and rectify defects.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Singapore standards and project specifications.

4. Safety Management

• Enforce workplace safety requirements under Singapore regulations.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
• Ensure workers use proper PPE and follow safe work procedures.

5. Progress Monitoring

• Track work progress against project schedules.
• Report delays and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare daily or weekly progress reports.

6. Testing and Commissioning

• Assist in testing and commissioning of M&E systems.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and authorities.
• Ensure systems are ready for handover.

7. Documentation

• Maintain site records, inspection reports, and work permits.
• Verify materials delivered to site.
• Record manpower deployment and work activities.

M&E General Foreman – Duties and Responsibilities

1. Overall Site Management

• Lead and manage multiple M&E supervisors, foremen, and workers.
• Plan and organize daily site operations.
• Ensure sufficient manpower, tools, and materials are available.

2. Work Planning and Scheduling

• Prepare work schedules and deployment plans.
• Coordinate installation sequences to meet project milestones.
• Monitor productivity and resource utilization.

3. Coordination with Stakeholders

• Liaise with project managers, site engineers, consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
• Resolve site coordination issues and clashes between different trades.

4. Quality Assurance

• Ensure all M&E works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Review inspection results and corrective actions.
• Monitor workmanship quality across all work teams.

5. Safety Leadership

• Enforce compliance with Singapore workplace safety regulations.
• Lead safety inspections and corrective measures.
• Ensure all workers receive proper safety instructions and training.

6. Progress and Performance Monitoring

• Monitor project progress and productivity.

Supervisor and General Foreman (M&E)

oversees on-site Mechanical & Electrical works, ensuring plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and fire protection systems are installed according to plans, safety, and quality standards

. They manage subcontractors, lead workers, plan daily schedules, and ensure compliance with regulatory authorities

Job Requirements

• Education: Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 7–10 years of experience in M&E / Civil construction, with previous experience as a foreman or supervisor.
• Work Timing: Related to site condition Maximum can able to work at Night shift.
• Work Location: Can able to go Multiple Site locations across Singapore within-a-day and Coordinate with Site Peoples and Main Contractors.
• Skills: Strong technical knowledge of Civil, electrical, HVAC, and Archi and Structural Drawing. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. able to Coordinate with Main Contractors and Engineers.
• Leadership: Strong communication and leadership skills to manage site staff and subcontractors

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: Supervise daily M&E activities for Structural Drawing, electrical, Mechanical and Civil installations to meet technical specifications.
• Coordination & Planning: Plan daily activities, arrange, and manage subcontractor schedules, and resolve technical issues or site clashes.
• Quality and Compliance: Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and building regulations.
• Safety Enforcement: Ensure all work adheres to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies.
• Reporting & Handover: Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, maintain records, and assist with testing, commissioning, and final handover.
• Resource Management: Manage materials, tools, and worker deployment to maintain productivity.
