The Senior Network Engineer/Lead is responsible for designing and implementing solutions that compliment a dynamic, always growing and evolving global network for one of the leading organizations in financial services. The Role

We're hiring a Senior Technical Operations Associate to own the layer of operations that requires technical literacy: procurement of engineering components and lab equipment, technical vendor relationships, engineering inventory, and the systems and tools that keep our operational infrastructure running.

You'll work alongside our existing team which owns generalist ops, logistics, and deployment coordination. Your lane is the technical one. Engineers will come to you with procurement needs, and you'll come back with sharper market intelligence than they had when they asked—alternative suppliers, equivalent components at better value, lead time trade-offs, vendors worth trusting. You're here to make their decisions better. 

What You Will Do

Own technical procurement end-to-end. You'll handle procurement of engineering components, lab equipment, and technical consumables—from evaluating purchase requests to coordinating with engineering leads on BOM requirements. The expectation is bringing procurement intelligence that engineers don't have time to build themselves.

Manage the vendors that matter most. You'll own the Approved Vendor List for technical and engineering suppliers and develop relationships with specialized hardware vendors, component suppliers, and calibration and testing service providers. Credibility is the currency here—engineers need to trust your recommendations, and vendors need to take you seriously.

Keep engineering inventory ahead of demand. You'll own tracking of engineering equipment, components, and technical assets, and maintain inventory systems that are accurate, queryable, and genuinely useful.

Build and own the operational systems layer. You'll identify and automate operational workflows that are currently running on manual effort. The goal is building systems that scale with the company, not just solve today's problem.

Be the technical resource when operations gets complex. When deployments or field operations involve specialized equipment, customs compliance for technical goods, or hardware readiness, you're the technical ops resource working alongside the team that owns the broader coordination.

What We're Looking For

Must Have

• A degree in engineering or a related technical discipline. You need enough of a foundation to have credible conversations with engineers about what they're procuring and why.

• 4–7 years of experience at the interface of engineering and procurement or supply chain. You've been in situations where engineers ask for things and you've come back with better options—not because you were told to push back, but because you knew the market well enough to.

• Hands-on experience with technical or industrial procurement. You understand specs, lead times, and what questions to ask a vendor before committing.

• A genuine inclination to automate operational processes rather than repeat them.

• Self-direction. You should be able to identify what needs to be built before being asked.

Good to Have

• Experience in deep tech, hardware, or industrial environments where procurement mistakes are expensive and lead times are long.

• Familiarity with inventory or procurement management systems, even if you built something lightweight yourself.

About the Weather Forecasting Program

The AI Access Initiative is launching a new, entrepreneurial initiative to design, test, and scale AI-enabled weather forecasting systems for smallholder farmers. The program will focus on translating recent advances in artificial intelligence into high-impact public systems that deliver timely, localized, and actionable weather information to farmers at scale.

More than 500 million smallholder households worldwide depend on agriculture for their livelihoods, yet many lack access to accurate and usable forecasts. Advances in AI offer a step-change opportunity to deliver faster, more accurate forecasts that are cheaper to run, easier to localize, and better suited to farmer decision-making. With targeted investment, AI-enabled forecasting systems could materially improve the livelihoods of hundreds of millions of farmers.

To advance this program in India, the Initiative, through Evidence Action’s technical partner EAII Advisors, aims to work with state governments and other partners to explore new models for deploying AI-enabled forecasts and farmer outreach systems. Initial efforts are expected to focus on a state-level implementation in India, with Telangana identified as a potential early partner, subject to finalization. The program aims to:

About the Position
EAII Advisors is seeking a Senior Program Associate to support the day-to-day operations of the Program Management Unit (PMU) for the AI-enabled weather forecasting program in Telangana. Reporting to the Senior Manager – PMU, the Senior Program Associate will be primarily based in Hyderabad and will play a key role in program coordination, data management, documentation, and reporting. 

The Senior Program Associate will support the Senior Manager across a range of PMU functions, including maintaining program trackers, consolidating data and reports, coordinating with government and partner stakeholders, and managing documentation and institutional records. This is an early-career role suited to a detail-oriented and motivated individual looking to build experience in program management at the intersection of technology, government systems, and development impact.

We are seeking a Senior Associate Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in ETL development using Talend and Microsoft Azure data services. The role involves designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines to support analytics, reporting, and downstream applications.
 

Your key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Talend
• Integrate data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, flat files, cloud sources)
• Build and manage data workflows on Microsoft Azure, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure SQL / Synapse Analytics
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability
• Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost
• Develop and implement techniques and analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualisation software.
• Apply data mining, data modelling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyse information from large structured and unstructured datasets.

• Collaborate with data analysts, BI teams, and stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Implement data validation, monitoring, and error handling

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimally 4 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering/ETL Development 
• Strong experience with ETL design patterns, data warehousing, and real-time/near real-time data processing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Talend (Data Integration/Big Data) 
• Solid experience with Microsoft Azure data services, including: Azure Data FactoryAzure Data Lake Azure SQL/Synapse 
• Strong SQL skills (complex queries, performance tuning) 
• Experience with data warehousing concepts 
• Prior Consulting/Professional Services experience
• Familiarity with batch and near-real-time data processing\
• Understanding of data governance, security, and access controls
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience with Python or Spark
• Exposure to DevOps / CI-CD pipelines for data platforms
