FORWARDING CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER / EXECUTIVE

JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle all custom formalities with customs and other authorities with regards to custom clearance.
• Manage forwarding activities and ensure that import and export goods are cleared in a timely manner.
• Go daily to the port to process custom file submissions. (if needed)
• Monitor and update containers through the port system
• Monitor loading and unloading of warehouses and ports (if needed)
• Handle for import and export (eg K1/K2/K4/K8/K9/ZB1/ZB2 permits required for customs submission)
• Experienced in EDI, Dagang Net and Port VGM submission
• Liaise with clients and agents with proper HS codes and advices duty/tax amount upon enquiry.
• Provide timely report and appropriate analysis
• Ensure proper documentation filling and system update

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/ SKILL REQUIREMENT:

• Candidate must possess at least SPM, Diploma or Advanced / Higher/ transportation or equivalent.
• At least 2-3 years (s) of working experience in forwarding Operation and well versed in Royal Custom procedure.
• Required skill(s): Strong verbal communication and presentation skills, self-disciplines, computer literate, presentation preparation and report.
• Good command in English & Malay speaking (both written and oral)
• Willing to work under challenging environment
• KEK Certificate is an added advantage
