Executive Marketing

Main purpose/objectives of role:

To promote premium metal roofing solutions by building strong relationships with industry professionals, creating technical marketing content, and supporting the sales team in securing project specifications and driving business growth.

Main activities/responsibilities:

• Build relationships with architects, engineers, developers, and consultants to include metal roofing products in project designs and obtain project specifications.
• Develop technical brochures, product catalogues, case studies, and digital content showcasing the durability and benefits of metal roofing.
• Research market trends, competitor activity, and customer demographics to identify opportunities and adjust marketing strategies.
• Provide the sales team with marketing materials, presentations, and lead reports to support sales activities.
• Provide comprehensive product introductions to customers and regularly update them on new and existing products in the market.
• Meet customers to gather information on potential projects and follow up on projects to ensure alignment with company goals.
• Conduct presentations for new customers and support the sales team in resolving issues with architects or developers regarding material approvals.
• Identify and pursue project opportunities that align with ASTAR’s product offerings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and business growth.
• Organize client engagement activities to nurture customer relationships.
• Submit weekly and monthly work activity reports to the Head of Department.
• To support and fully implement effective ISO 9001 – Quality Management System, ISO 9001-2015
• Any business-related responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.

Qualifications and experience required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience in the construction, building materials, or B2B manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to conduct market research and analyse data effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
• Flexibility to travel locally or regionally for client meetings.
