Site Engineer

Job Scope:

• Supervise and coordinate piling works on site
• Oversee daily operations at the construction site, ensuring smooth execution of the project.
• Supervise subcontractors and construction workers to ensure high-quality work and safety standards are met.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure the work meets project specifications and industry standards.
• Work with the project team to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues on-site.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at the construction site.
• Maintain daily logs and reports on site progress, issues, and activities.
• Ensure proper documentation of site measurements, drawings, and material receipts.
• Liaise with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure the project stays on track.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, and workers to maintain workflow.
• Attend meetings to provide site updates and resolve any technical or logistical concerns.
• Monitor material usage and ensure proper inventory control.
• Participate in site surveys and assist in evaluating site conditions, accessibility, and requirements.
• Assist in the planning and preparation of work schedules and timelines.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a site engineer role or related construction experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Good understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and building regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Willing to travel to project sites
• Piling works experience will be an added advantage
