Senior Account Executive

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full Accounts Receivable (AR) function, including invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliation.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with customers to ensure timely payment collection.
• Prepare and issue invoices, credit notes, and account statements accurately and on time.
• Conduct AR aging analysis and maintain accurate receivable records.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer payment issues.
• Perform monthly customer account reconciliations and assist in month-end closing activities.
• Prepare AR reports, collection reports, and other finance-related reports as required.
• Coordinate with Sales and other departments on customer account matters.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Support external and internal audit requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Finance.
• Strong understanding of AR processes and accounting principles.
• Experience in ERP systems and accounting software is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in handling corporate customer accounts and high-volume transactions.
• Knowledge of credit control and collection procedures.
• Professional accounting qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, etc.) will be an added advantage.
