TECHNICAL SERVICE ENGINEER (COLOUR PIGMENT - PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING)

Salary Range: RM6000 – RM7000

Full Time Position - BASED KULAI & BATAM

Job Responsibilities:

1. Sets up, operates, and maintains injection moulding machines to produce Colour Chips and performs technical control.
2. Customer/Supplier onsite visit for technical support on products and Colour deviation as well as solving abnormal problems.
3. Provide technical support for injection moulding machine setup, maintenance, production parameters, and troubleshooting at customer onsite.
4. Responsible to follow up on customer’s trial sample production and onsite production status.
5. Develop and enhance the support plan in order to establish good customer relationships and customer satisfaction.
6. Knowledge transfer to customers or sales channel partners on system setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills.
7. Work closely with the Quality Team on quality and design related improvements based on customer feedback.
8. Adhere to production operating parameters and Good Manufacturing Practices to meet production and quality targets.
9. Accuracy in measurement and strong interest in Colour matching.
10. To perform tasks/jobs as assigned by superior.
11. Training Provided.

Requirements:

1. Must possess at least a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical/industrial academic qualifications.
2. Secondary School graduates are welcome to apply if having relevant working experience.
3. At least 2 years and above working experience in Plastic Injection Molding / Extrusion / Plastic Resin / Colorants Manufacturing.
4. Able to speak and write Mandarin.
5. Basic communication skills in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English.
6. Basic computer literate.
7. Willing to go onsite for customer and supplier visits for technical support.
8. Willing to work outstation in Batam.
9. Self-initiated with good 5S habits and discipline.
10. A Mandarin speaker is preferable (as we need to deal with China/Hong Kong HQ).
