QA ANALYST ( for Software Testing / IT )

JOB DESCRIPTION :

1. Perform various types of testing including functional testing, API testing, and/or usability testing for assigned projects or products. 
2. Support and participate in performance testing and test automation testing activities. 
3. Perform testing activities, including test case design, test procedure preparation, test data creation, and test execution. 
4. Identify and document defects discovered during testing through Test Incident Reports 
5. Track and follow up on reported defects to ensure timely resolution, closure, or proper mitigation. 
6. Provide regular status updates and reports to the manager on testing progress, issues, risks, and overall quality status of assigned projects or products. 
7. Prepare and maintain testing deliverables in accordance with established standards, best practices, and audit or compliance requirements. 
8. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, reproduce issues, and improve overall product quality. 
9. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company from time to time. 

JOB REQUIREMENT :

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or a related field, and/or relevant professional certifications. 
2. Minimum 2 years of working experience in software testing/ quality assurance or related field. 
3. Good understanding of the software testing lifecycle and structured testing processes. 
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good presentation skills and a high level of written and verbal communication in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. 
5. Basic understanding of programming languages, networking, or system infrastructure will be an added advantage.
