Lube Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with customers to identify and understand their specific lubrication challenges and requirements.
2. Conduct training sessions for customers on proper lubrication techniques, equipment maintenance, and best practices to optimize performance and prolong machinery lifespan.
3. Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules for customers' machinery and equipment, focusing on lubrication-related tasks to minimize downtime and repair costs.
4. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify potential customers and opportunities for expanding lubrication services, and participate in client presentations as needed.
5. Work closely with senior engineers to develop and implement effective lubrication strategies tailored to each customer's needs.
6. Provide technical support and assistance to field technicians and service personnel, troubleshooting complex lubrication issues and offering guidance on proper maintenance procedures.
7. Provide on-site support to apply lubricants to machinery and equipment, ensuring proper coverage and adherence to manufacturer specifications.
8. Conduct regular inspections and assessments of machinery to identify lubrication issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
9. Assist customers in troubleshooting and resolving lubrication-related problems, such as excessive wear or equipment malfunctions.
10. Maintain detailed records of lubricant usage, equipment maintenance, and service reports.
11. Stay updated on industry trends, new lubrication technologies, and best practices to continuously improve service offerings.

Qualifications:

1. Degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering or lubrication technology is a advantage.
2. Previous experience in a technical or hands-on role, preferably in lubrication, automotive, manufacturing, or related industries.
3. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze lubrication issues and implement effective solutions.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
5. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality service and maintaining accurate records.
6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
7. Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with relevant software applications.
8. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
