Shipping & Logistic Executive (Melaka)

Job Summary :

• Oversees finish goods warehouse for order delivery fulfillment and manage warehouse efficiently and safely. Liaise with forwarders and ensuring on-time delivery to meet both business and customer needs.

Job Responsibilities :

• Liaise with customers and forwarding agents for cargo readiness, vessel booking, arrange shipment/ delivery, domestic or international and ensure goods were loaded to truck/ container in good condition and ascertain inbound & outbound shipments were cleared promptly (POD).
• Prepare, review, confirm and follow up the accuracy information of import and export shipping documentation such as Invoice, BL, COO, ISF and etc. in compliance with different customers/ countries’ requirements.
• Source and ensure the most competitive transportation and freight costs from shipping/ forwarding/ transport suppliers (Land / Air / Sea / Courier).
• Collaborate and manage cost in relating to packaging, logistics and sub-con transportation and inventories level to achieve the monthly KPI set (OTD, freight premiums, customers’ complaint on packaging).
• Manage FG inventory (FIFO) and stock card management and arrangement, inclusive of packaging materials. FG/ packing materials were placed/shelved orderly for easy tracking.
• Maintain good filing system (for custom & audit) and record-keeping and responsible for warehouse housekeeping and safety.
• Carry out other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior.

Job Requirements :

• Minimum Diploma in any field.
• Minimum 2 – 3 years in shipping & logistic and well verse of Incoterm.
• Required skill(s): Good interpersonal skill, computer skills, ERP.
• Knowledge(s): Incoterms, custom requirements.
• Fluent written & spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Full-Time position(s) available.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Alor Gajah.
