Junior Executive

Job Responsibilities

Set up and operate vertical and horizontal lathe machines, as well as other machining equipment.
Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tolerances accurately.
Ensure finished workpieces meet required dimensions and quality standards.
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning before and after operations.
Conduct testing procedures to ensure machines operate efficiently.
Monitor and manage raw material inventory; coordinate reordering when needed.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with safety standards.
Work closely with other departments to meet production timelines.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and productivity.
Provide regular updates on work progress to supervisors.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of lathe machine operations (vertical/horizontal).
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and tolerances.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good awareness of workplace safety practices.
Physically fit and able to stand for long hours; willing to work overtime when required.
Fresh graduates from technical/vocational schools are encouraged to apply.
Prior experience in machining or manufacturing is an added advantage.

About Merge Jati Group Merge Jati Engineering Sdn Bhd, Malaysia, was incorporated in 1999 as a supplier of engineering components and spares for palm oil mills. Since then it has progressed to become an established Industrial Plant Turnkey contractor and Proprietary Equipment Manufacturer. Our activities now are primarily on turnkey works for new palm oil mills, and on extension and upgrading of existing milling lines, with capability to cover the whole spectrum of earthworks, civil works, structural works, effluent treatment and electrical works. We also undertake the supply and installation of machinery and equipment for Refineries Plant, Kernel Crushing Plant, Biogas Plant and many more. Our valuable experience and perceptive insights allow us to practise continuous development and improvement in the quality of our services on our turnkey projects on palm oil mills, and on erection of H.P. steam boiler plants, maintenance and repairs of oil mill machinery, rehabilitation of existing process lines, extension/upgrading of process lines for milling capacity increase, and also as vendor agent of proprietary equipment and spares of proven quality and reliability.

Our professional and transparent relationship with our Clients combined with our business ethics and values based on the basis of fair business dealings have resulted in many successful mill projects of differing designs, concepts and capacities ranging from 15 TPH (15tons fresh fruit bunches per hour) to 120 TPH.
