Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a multi-disciplinary clinical laboratory, with proven expertise in Haematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Pathology, and other related disciplines.
Willingness and ability to work on rotating shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and on-call duties as required.

Responsibilities

Perform laboratory tests in strict accordance with established procedures and standards as outlined by the Laboratory Accreditation requirements.
Analyze technical issues related to specimen adequacy, laboratory data, and instrumentation; identify root causes and resolve problems in compliance with relevant guidelines and procedures.
Review and monitor laboratory processes to ensure high-quality results, and implement appropriate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) as necessary.
Ensure all laboratory instruments are maintained in optimal working condition by monitoring adherence to the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule.

Pantai Premier Pathology Sdn. Bhd, (PPPSB) formerly known as Premier Carrier Sdn. Bhd, was incorporated in July 1997 as a wholly owned subsidiary company of Pantai Support Services Sdn. Bhd. Wholly owned by Pantai Holdings Berhad, PPPSB is a registered company in Malaysia (Company registration: 438067-X).

PPPSB provides a wide range of quality diagnostics and analytical laboratory testing services to referring medical practitioners. Referrals are received from abroad serving the base of general practitioners and specialist doctors, from medical clinics and medical centres to large tertiary hospitals in Malaysia.

Pantai Premier has established and effectively maintained a Quality Management System based upon the requirements of ISO 9001: 2000. With the ISO 9001 Standards in place as of May 2002, we have since continued to commit in providing a high standard Total Quality Healthcare delivery to our clients.
