Interior Designer (Salary up to RM 5000)

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in interior design.
• Proficiency in Interior Design software such as SketchUp, 3D Studio Max, and AutoCAD.
• Strong skills in space planning and design conceptualization.
• Ability to produce detailed technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Mandarin and English.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibility

• Assist senior designers in developing design concepts and solutions based on client needs and project requirements.
• Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
• Create 3D models and renderings using SketchUp and 3D Studio Max to visualize design concepts and present them to clients.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information about existing conditions and ensure accurate project execution.
• Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project completion.
• Select and specify furniture, fixtures, equipment, and materials, considering aesthetics, functionality, and budget constraints.
• Assist in space planning and layout design to optimize functionality and create aesthetically pleasing environments.
• Communicate effectively in Mandarin with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure clear understanding and project alignment.
