Site Safety Supervisor

Position: Site Safety Supervisor (Construction – Wet Works / Masonry Package)

Location: Johor

Company Overview

Grande Build Sdn. Bhd. is a specialist wet-work subcontractor focusing on brickwork, plastering, and skim coat works for residential and commercial construction projects. We are seeking a responsible and proactive Site Safety Supervisor to oversee safety compliance for our masonry operations at site.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce site safety compliance for brickwork, plastering, and skim coat works
• Ensure all workers follow CIDB and DOSH safety requirements
• Conduct daily toolbox briefings and safety awareness sessions
• Inspect scaffolding access areas, working platforms, and material handling practices
• Ensure proper usage of PPE by workers
• Liaise with Main Contractor Safety Officer / SHO on safety matters
• Assist in preparing site safety documentation, reports, and checklists
• Monitor housekeeping conditions at masonry work zones
• Report unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions immediately
• Support compliance with HIRARC / method statements / safety procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years experience in construction site safety supervision
• Experience handling wet works / masonry works (brickwork, plastering, skim coat) preferred
• Possess CIDB Green Card (mandatory)
• Safety Supervisor certification is an advantage
• Familiar with Malaysia construction site safety practices
• Able to coordinate with main contractor safety team
• Willing to be based full-time at Johor project site
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently
