Job Description
- Responsible for operation and monitoring of low voltage (LV) electrical system (MDB / SMDB / DB) for solar PV projects and site facilities
- Ensure stable, safe, and continuous power supply for solar installation sites and operations
- Carry out preventive maintenance (PPM) for electrical systems, solar PV components, and related equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical faults including tripping, short circuit, overload, and system failure
- Perform emergency repair to restore power and minimize downtime
- Operate and maintain backup systems such as generator, UPS, and ATS
- Ensure all electrical and solar installation works comply with safety standards and regulations
- Maintain maintenance records, site log books, and inspection reports
- Coordinate with technicians and project teams for maintenance and site support activities
Qualification / Experience & Requirements
- Must possess valid Chargeman A4 Certificate
- Experience in solar PV system, electrical maintenance, or facility management is preferred
- Good knowledge of LV electrical systems, switchgear, inverter systems, and backup systems (generator / UPS / ATS)
- Able to troubleshoot electrical and system faults independently
- Strong understanding of electrical safety and site safety procedures
- Willing to work shifts or on-call when required
- Responsible, disciplined, and good teamwork attitude
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced project/site environment
