Responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation and staffing in regional property portfolio as directed by the client and in accordance with the standards and procedures of Jones Lang LaSalle. Act as primary Facilities and Soft Services point of contact for client headquarters site. Organize and prioritize multiple tasks, effectively manage through stressful situations, consistently make effective, high-quality decisions, and must develop and effectively manage client relationships.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Develop and sustain a high-quality, well-motivated and engaged Facilities and Soft Services team.

• Provide oversight of Facilities and Soft Services program delivery

• Develop and implement a staffing plan for Facilities and Soft Services ensuring proper distribution of resources including response to urgent or emergency situations.

• Provide regional oversight of CMMS ensuring compliance with KPIs, team compliance with policy and procedure and ease of client usability. Partner with Technology to advise of system needs and functionality.

• Develop, implement and maintain preventative maintenance program.

• Act as health and safety champion for designated region leading program creation, training, compliance and driving culture of safety.

• Monitor systems supporting the facility and facility’s critical operations at a regional level.

• Own strategic planning ensuring utilization of industry and JLL best practices, consistency amongst sites, and documentation

• Provides training and support aimed at expanding the capabilities of the JLL staff

• Establish self as the internal “go-to” for team members needing support in service delivery, management of outside contractors and project delivery.

• Conflict resolution and solution analysis; identifying or partnering with other internal areas to deliver more specialized service to client.

• Drive implementation of best practices and innovative cost reduction programs in all facilities by recommending operational efficiencies resulting in cost savings or increased productivity.

• Provide contract compliance management and quality control.

• Maintain compliance with site Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Levels pertaining to Quality, Financial, Operational, and Strategic metrics.  Responsible for process compliance and documentation related to a variety of internal audits. 

• Preparation of regular and ad-hoc and recurring reports

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field experience, preferred.

• Minimum 5 – 8 years direct supervision of multi-building operations and multiple direct reports

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

• LEED; preferred

• CFM, BOMA, CPM, other Commercial Real Estate related designation; favorable

• Managerial experience required with proven budget and personnel responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Knowledge of Facilities Management, Property Management, Building Systems, etc.

• Advanced experience with MS Office suite and CMMS databases
