Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily factory operations to achieve production, quality, and delivery targets.
- Plan and optimise manpower, materials, machinery, and production schedules for maximum efficiency.
- Monitor production performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, workplace safety requirements, and company policies.
- Oversee machinery maintenance and minimise production downtime.
- Control production costs, wastage, and operational expenses.
- Lead, coach, and develop production teams to improve productivity and performance.
- Prepare production reports and KPI analysis for management review.
- Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Procurement, and Management teams to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in manufacturing operations, with supervisory or management responsibilities.
- Experience in plastic manufacturing, plastic recycling, resin processing, injection moulding, extrusion, or related industries is an advantage.
- Proven track record in improving productivity, quality, cost control, and operational performance.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, ISO standards, or continuous improvement practices is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and production reporting.
- Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Willing to work in Kapar, Selangor.
