The Role:

• Perform qualification/buy-off data collection oftest hardware/equipment eg. on changekit / load board/ test handler/ post testscanner based on release criteria.
• Perform Test Hardware In/Out activities includingbut not limited to SA creation, coordination with warehouse team,Incoming/Outgoing QC checks, Packing/Unpacking.
• Ensure that all test hardware is properly labelledand update hardware inventory for any movement and change of status.

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and driven Test Engineer who thrives on complex system integration challenges. In this role, you will go beyond test execution. You will help architect, develop, and automate the testing framework for our next-generation e-payment ecosystem, playing a key role in shaping the future of digital finance.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the end-to-end testing activities of an integrated e[1]payment system;
• Carry out the activities in the testing lifecycle including test planning, analyzing business and system requirements;
• Designing and developing the test cases and procedures or test automation solution;
• Preparing the test environment;
• Executing the test procedures;
• Logging and tracking defects to closure; and
• Conducting test reviews with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

• Recognised degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Engineering with at least 3 years’ relevant experience in executing testing or developing test automation solution involving devices (UI-based or embedded) and/or back-office systems;
• Possess a strong interest and self-motivation to carry out testing with the objective to contribute towards a better quality software/system;
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Able to work well both independently as well as in a team;
• Familiarity with the full system development lifecycle from requirement, development, to testing and deployment;
• Relevant experience and competence with the tools used for test management, configuration management and defect tracking;
• Familiarity with database administration;
• Certification in software testing;
• Experience in micro-payment or Automatic Fare Collection systems using Smart Card; and
• Skilled in executing testing or developing test automation solution, he/she shall also possess either one of these sets of skills: Either
• i. Good capability in developing effective test cases and procedures from analysing business requirements and system use cases; and
• ii. Competent in executing testing activities (including System Testing, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing) which include preparation of the test environment, test execution, recording of test results, conducting of test reviews with both internal and external stakeholders, to logging of and following up on defects to closure.

• i. Competent and having a keen interest in software development, particularly in the area of test automation;
• ii. Relevant experience and competence with at least one test automation tool, to develop test automation application and scripts; and
• iii. Good capability in developing design documents and user manuals which could effectively describe and provide clear instructions on the test automation solution to the end users who include testers and stakeholders.

Duty：

• Responsible for end-to-end quality assurance of IPTV/OTT software products (such as set-top box applications, backend services, etc.), including developing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies and plans.

• Deeply understand product requirements and designs, independently design, write, review, and execute efficient and comprehensive test cases covering functional, interface, performance, and compatibility aspects.

• Conduct front-end and back-end testing (including UI/UX, API interfaces, and core business logic), accurately identify, document, track, and verify software defects.

• Design and execute interface testing, proficient in using relevant interface testing tools.

• Proficient in using Android Debug Bridge (ADB) for device connection, log capture, file operations, performance monitoring, and other testing support tasks.

• Capable of log analysis and network packet capturing (e.g., Wireshark), enabling quick identification and diagnosis of complex issues.

• Design, execute, and monitor performance testing, analyze performance bottlenecks, and evaluate system stability and reliability under high load.

• Maintain close communication with domestic and international clients, development teams, and product teams, and clearly report on testing progress, risks, and quality status.

• Participate in testing process optimization to improve testing efficiency and product quality.

• Able to accept short-term, frequent business trips both domestically and internationally (especially in project-related regions) to support on-site testing, client communication, and issue resolution.

Requirements：

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Communication Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of software testing experience, with mandatory experience in the IPTV/OTT industry or similar audio/video streaming domains.

• Proficient in software testing theories, processes, and methodologies; familiar with agile development practices.

• Good ability in test case design and execution, capable of independently testing complex modules.

• Solid experience in front-end (Web/App UI interaction) and back-end (service logic, data) testing.

• Extensive interface testing experience, proficient in using at least one mainstream tool such as Postman, JMeter, or SoapUI.

• Proficient in common Android ADB commands, able to effectively apply them for testing support and troubleshooting.

• Skilled in log analysis techniques (e.g., Android Logcat) and network packet capture tools (e.g., Wireshark) for issue diagnosis.

• Experience in performance testing, familiar with performance testing concepts, tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner), and result analysis methods.

• Familiar with common Linux command-line operations.

• Familiarity with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Zentao) and test case management tools (e.g., TestLink, Xray, qTest).

• Knowledge of common network protocols (e.g., HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, UDP, RTSP, RTP) and streaming protocols (HLS, DASH).

• Basic understanding of database operations (SQL).

• Candidates with foundational knowledge in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS) or back-end programming (e.g., Java, Python) are required.

Job Description & Requirements:

Test Program Manager will work closely with the respective stakeholders across the organisation to drive testing Projects which is aligned to organisation's transformation strategy.

Reporting to the Digital Domain Lead, the candidate will ensure the overall successful delivery of all testing services for Cross Border Payments + NPS Enhancements and upgrade Project, change requests and production fixes under Digital domain suite of applications.

The candidate is also expected to manage and ensure the successful delivery of testing services provided by organisation's appointed test service providers, and in accordance with the organization’s standards and processes.

·        Overall accountable and responsible for delivery of testing services one or more applications and/or projects of Digital domain applications.

·        Manage and oversee the day-to-day delivery of test services by Bank appointed vendors in the conduct of testing.

·        Works with the testing service providers and other client stakeholders to review, provide feedback and sign off on the test strategy, test plans and other test service providers’ artefacts for the testing service delivery.

·        Coordinates with the Test Governance team to ensure adoption of testing methods, standards and tools, and to coordinate any health checks or audits.

·        Ensures that any changes to the scope of services are communicated to the respective test service providers and the impact is factored in to the plan.

·        Engages with various client stakeholders(including but not limited to, application, security, infrastructure, business), testing service providers to ensure testing services meet the banks’ objectives and demand.

·        Act as the first point of escalation for any issues raised by client stakeholders, testing service providers.

Requirements:
·        Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in computer engineering or related field.

·        Proven working experience in test delivery or equivalent role with at least 10 to 15 years relevant experience in large and complex organization's preferably in the area of Banking and Finance and at least 5 years’ senior manager experience in testing.

·        Extensive experience in managing end to end delivery of testing services from multiple vendor test service providers.

·        Proven experience in testing standards, tools, processes & methodologies, frameworks, and various delivery methodologies e.g. Agile, Hybrid Agile and Waterfall, DevOps.

·        A proven, successful track record of managing shared IT service development and/ or IT Testing Services.

·        Demonstrated success in developing highly effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver collaboration, partnerships and services.

·        Strong attention to details, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Experience in managing multiple external testing service providers.

·        Experience in managing multi-cultural, diverse, direct and virtual teams.

·        Must display a high level of professional judgment, commitment, integrity, and teamwork.

·        Excellent client facing, internal communications, written and verbal communication skills.

·       Testing or quality certifications, PMP certifications, ISTBQ and Test Maturity Model integration (TMMi) Framework awareness will be preferred.

• Should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing projects in Banking and Finance domain.
• Strong domain knowledge in Digital Domain. Experience in managing testing one or more areas of these domains will be an advantage.
• Experience in various testing tool suites like Tosca, Selenium, Appium, JIRA, Query Surge, LoadRunner/Performance Centre.
