AI Singapore (AISG) is Singapore's national programme in artificial intelligence, launched by the National Research Foundation (NRF) to anchor deep national capabilities in AI. The candidate will join a team of AI scientists, apprentices, data and software engineers. With the team, he or she will be responsible for building evaluations that test the limits of AI models especially in terms of its multilingual, multicultural and multimodal capabilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain evaluation frameworks and pipelines to measure the capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Keep up to date and experiment with the latest research in multilingual, multicultural, and multimodal LLM evaluations such as the LLM-as-a-Judge paradigm.

• Work with partners to collect, translate and verify evaluation datasets.

• Perform the necessary data preparation and analysis, AI modelling, coding, testing, validation and deployment to ensure reliable and scalable AI solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within AI Products to design and resolve issues.

• Maintain code repository and documentation standards.

• Contribute to community engagement activities such as sharings via technical session meet-ups and article write-ups, and participating in discussion forums.

Requirements:

• Graduate from a degree program in computer science, AI, data science or related fields (or equivalent practical experience).

• Deep understanding of LLM evaluation experimental design and the advantages/limitations of various LLM evaluation methods.

• Experience in LLM inference frameworks such as vLLM and AI/Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch.

• Writing production level code in Python and using version control systems such as Git.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Independent learner that is capable of reading and understanding research papers.

• Fluent in English and one other Southeast Asian language for the purposes of understanding how to build quality evaluations from a multilingual and multicultural perspective.

THE ROLE:

Test Engineering is a cost, quality, and time-to-market driven team responsible for enabling the availability of FPGAs, SoCs & ACAPs to our customers.  The Test Engineer will be involved in new product release as well as production yield/quality improvement activities.  This role requires close collaboration with Test Pattern Developers & Product Engineers to create test programs that provide optimum test coverage for our products.  There are also ample opportunities to work on cost reduction and test capacity improvement projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops ATE test programs to test FPGA & SoCs products.  This involves constructing or enhancing test methods, and integration of timings/ levels and test flow into a test program.
• Involved with New Product Introduction process and works with test pattern developers in generating, debugging, and implementing new test patterns.
• Other duties include working with product/yield engineers in implementing new test requirements for yield and quality improvements; as well as working on productivity improvement and cost reduction activities such as test time reduction and multi-site development & implementation.
• Implement and manage efuse operations: ability to read fuse maps, develop and maintain secure burning procedures, read-back verification, trim and CRC flows.
• Understanding basic symmetric and asymmetric cryptographic functions (e.g., AES, SHA, RSA/ECC).
• Analyze large test datasets to drive yield improvement, failure analysis, and continuous optimization; build automated dashboards and reports.
  
  

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• The candidate should have 5 or more years of ATE test program development experience. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in one or more of the following ATE platforms are desired: Advantest T2000 and/or Verigy93000 (Smartest 7/8).
• There should be a proven track record of developing and releasing new test programs to production.  Good understanding of test concepts & new product development cycle is desired.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and C++ for ATE test development, tooling, and data analysis; experienced with libraries such as OpenSSL, NumPy, and Pandas, and capable of designing and maintaining robust regression test suites.
• Practical experience with Git for version control and Confluence for documentation and knowledge management.
• Strong hands-on Linux skills for development, automation, scripting, and environment management.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics Engineering
• Specialization in Electronics or Computer Engineering is preferred.
