About the Role

Drive large-scale sales of the company’s Core Banking and Financial Data Analytics solutions to target clients, while building and leading a high-performing local sales team that is both technically savvy and highly ambitious, achieving annual revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Acquisition: Proactively develop banking and financial institution clients across Hong Kong, Singapore, and Greater China, establishing partnerships from 0 to 1.
2. End-to-End Sales Ownership: Lead the full sales cycle, including cold calling, needs discovery, pre-sales solution alignment, commercial negotiation, and contract closure.
3. Team Leadership (Director Level): Recruit, train, and motivate a local sales team; define and track individual and team KPIs.
4. Partner Ecosystem: Collaborate with local system integrators, fintech partners, and consulting firms to drive channel sales.
5. Market Insights: Capture evolving client needs related to Core Banking and financial analytics, and provide feedback to support product roadmap optimization.

Qualifications

1. Experience: 8+ years (5+ years for Manager level) in B2B software or IT solutions sales, with at least 3 years directly selling to banks or financial institutions.
2. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with at least one of the following areas — Core banking systems or Financial data analytics
3. Proven Track Record: At least one deal closed with a banking client exceeding SGD 500,000 within the past two years.
4. Language Skills: Fluent in English for business communication; proficiency in either Mandarin or Cantonese at a working level.

Overview:

This role is responsible for developing strategic partnerships, expanding market presence, driving revenue performance, and strengthening relationships with luxury travel advisors, consortia partners, tour operators, and key leisure accounts.

Responsibilities:

Luxury Consortia Management:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with luxury consortia partners and preferred travel advisor networks.
• Negotiate annual agreements, preferred partnerships, and joint marketing initiatives.
• Maximize visibility across luxury travel platforms, advisor networks, and partner marketing campaigns.
• Execute sales activations, advisor engagement programs, and promotional initiatives to drive business growth.

Leisure & Tour Operator Sales:

• Manage relationships with tour operators, wholesalers, destination management companies (DMCs), and retail travel agencies.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within domestic and international leisure markets.

• Develop and implement tactical promotions, travel packages, and partnership campaigns.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sales Management: Direct and oversee the entire sales process, targeting customers in line with the company's strategic objectives. Responsible for not only initiating customer interaction, but also guiding the final sales and ensuring successful follow-up.

• Business Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with partners and customers in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) market. Identify new programs, market segments, and opportunities that build on the company’s core MIMO solutions.

• Event Support: Participate in trade shows, conferences, and customer events to support sales development.

• Market Awareness: Stay updated on market trends, changes, and competitor actions that may impact the company's positioning. This includes setting and meeting an annual target for new business to support growth in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) market.

• Pipeline Management: Contribute to building a robust pipeline of business opportunities. Regularly update the CRM database with a forecast of opportunities to help inform key business decisions.

• Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our MIMO solutions. This knowledge will help effectively communicate the value and benefits of our products to customers and prospects.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university plus minimum 10 years of demonstrated business development and sales experience in a technical field.
• Deep understanding of APAC procurement and MARCORSYSCOM, MCTSSA, and PMTCE program offices. 
• Knowledge of military C2, C5ISR, EW, or SIGINT applications.
• Military/Aerospace industry and acquisition experience.
• Solid understanding of APAC DoD funding and procurement cycles.
• Experience leading all phases of business capture (whitepapers, proposals, RFI/RFP response, teaming, strategic positioning, etc.).
• All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Demonstrated business development and sales experience in autonomous military systems.
