• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of grant documentation reports and correspondence.
• Experience in grant administration, research management or research operations.
• Demonstrated experience in budget preparation, financial tracking for research grants.
• Experience in contract management of research agreements (i.e. work plan creation/amendment, facilitating contract discussions).
• Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Possess an understanding of medical and clinical research terminology.
• Candidate should preferably have background in cancer biology and/or genomics and data science.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Build the cargo book within the Pacific region (spot and forward) and secure tonnage to cover positions.
• To maintain and develop relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
• To evaluate various opportunities & negotiate and finalise charter parties
• Manage risk exposure via FFA.
• Work closely with Operations department to ensure smooth performance of voyages
• Study/understand new trades and ports.
• Generate and submit performance reports and other assigned reports in a timely and accurate manner.

The Ideal Candidate has:

• University degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in an Operating firm.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of supramax trades.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proactivity, ability to be self-reliant and take ownership.
• Ability to foster relationships.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
